Last year, I had the opportunity to run the All -Electric Genius GV70, in which many premium features were packaged while still a modest 3.2 mile/kW average performance was provided. This year’s LI, I chose to operate its all -gas -powered version at 2026 Genius GV70 3.5 T -Sports Prestage AWD.

You think all the gas is equal to Will Be cheap, which is with the base trim (at GV70 2.5t, is at 47,985), but 3.5 T Sports Pressage OD Term I run on a total, 72,225 for a week’s balloons-all electric equivalent (2026 genius GV 70 Prestage AD) 75 75. I was expecting the gas version to be cheaper.

I am really emphasizing the price difference here as there is usually a huge spread between All Gas and All Electric. Nevertheless, in this case it is minimal. Here is my profession and in accordance with 2026 Genius GV70.

2026 Genius GV 70: Test Summary

(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

If there is one thing that bothers me, it is the price of gas, because in the summer, how volatile it comes. After running a total of 218.9 miles, the GV70 3.5T Sports Pressage AWD average fuel average 24.8 MPG. This is an average of medium sized SUV and is definitely much better than 21.7 MPG average that I have derived from Genius GV 80. I would admit that I did not drive so many gas vehicles this year. However, its fuel economy compared to other hybrid SUVs I have experienced.

Although it reaches its EPA estimated ranking, you are going to finish payments in the long term of gas. The last time I checked, it costs 85 3.85/gallons for mulk petrol. Therefore, filling its 17.43 gallon tank will cost about $ 67 – which will give you about 43 432 miles to work.

Electric GV 70 Prades AWD packs an 84kW battery, which will have a range of about 243 miles. Based on the 2 0.22/kWh rate charged by my electric company, it will cost $ 18.48 to completely charged the battery. The calculation shows that you will pay more with all gas versions, especially in the long run.

On the one hand, I would say that Genius GV70 3.5T Sport Pressage AWD runs very easily. Exhibition is slightly less powerful while living in a comfortable driving mode – but in the game mode it is more responsive and fun.

2026 Genius GV 70: What do I like

    Beautiful 27 -inch OLED display

(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

Immediately when I go to the driver’s seat, I was welcomed by a wide 27-inch OLED-a giant panel that spreads with a dashboard. I really love Love how it looks more smooth than last year’s All -Electric GV70 that I experienced. And unlike other ultra -wide screens, it is not broken in two panels. It is just a long display that is detailed, bright and popped with color.

    Sports meets with luxury style

I had to admit, birth never refuses me to surprise my designs – and GV70 is not exempt from it. I would argue that it goes up with its style, which is more aggressive sporty design, which is displayed by its orange -colored seat belt, two -line LED head lamps, and 21 -inch sports styling wheels. In fact, it doesn’t make me feel like an old man is driving a luxury car.

    Refreshing Premium Features

(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

Of all the luxurious car makers there, none of the more generous than birth properties is more wide. The GV -70 creates other luxury vehicles that I look sharp by comparison. I am talking about blind spot camera monitors, headup display, wireless carplay and Android auto, panoramic ceiling, auto -lane change, napa leather seats, Bang and Olfson speakers, massage and adaptive cruise control.

I also like the fact that pressing the relevant button on the steering wheel has helped the lane cap, which will try to keep the vehicle in the middle of the lane – regardless of whether it’s on the highway or local road.

    Lighting Lighting

Similarly, when it comes to acidic light, birth is the king in my opinion. The interior cabin space is full of lights everywhere and certainly makes it more luxurious than the average vehicle. At night, it feels as if the shining light is bathed inside.

    The calm riding

(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

When I was driving, I could barely hear other cars on the highway because the sound proofing is incredible. Even on the highway about 65 65mph, the engine’s noise is so mixed that it can make a calm ride.

    2026 Genius GV 70: What I don’t like

    It’s really expensive

(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

Despite all the premium features, I find it difficult to recommend more GV70 than all electric equivalent. About $ 3,000 has spread between MSRPS of both dignity terms. I do not criticize the 24.8 MPG fuel economy, which was capable of testing its week, but the price is another.

I have already pointed out how you pay for long -term fuel costs with this all -gas version. Although there is no limit to this all -gas model, you are definitely paying a higher price by driving a car at the same distance against the All -Electric version. If it was probably $ 10,000, then it would be enough justification to suggest – but not.

Despite the less powerful engine, small 19 -inch wheels, and low premium properties, the base trim has a better price with its 47,985 MSRP. For example, it does not have air seats, no blind spot camera monitors, nor so much help features.
