Instagram map, the new Instagram feature makes it easier to share your location with Snap Chat copying Snapmap, friends. So easy you do not understand who you are sharing without digging into your settings. This naturally causes some Instagram users to confuse how this feature works.
If you already spend a lot of time on Instagram and looking for a way to see where your friends are, it is worthwhile to know how the Instagram map works. And if you are worried that Instagram is broadcasting information without your knowledge, you can also be relieved of this feature settings. Here is how to do both in the Instagram app.
How to use Instagram map

To access the Instagram map, you will have to go to the DMS section of Instagram, and then tap the map icon in the upper row of the status icons. The first time you tap on the map, Instagram will find out how the Instagram map distributes your location, and why it needs to enable location services to work. Then, if you are not already sharing your location with Instagram, you will get a popup from your phone asking if you want to share your position. Taping through it will take you to the map.
The majority of the Map of Instagram is picked up by a map showing your current location, which is below the search bar to find your friends’ location. Scroll around for a bit and you can see a profile picture marked at a friend’s current location, or small posts tagged with a particular place. With Instagram map you can do some basic things:
Swipe here and see that friends’ posts were shown geographically
Use a search bar to find a friend’s current location or recent tagged posts
Tap a friend to carry on their profile, or to see a post completely.
Instagram map is mainly informative. It can tell you where your friends are or where they have been recently, and let you see the content on the basis where it was posted. After that it is not really complicated. Unless you are playing about who can see your location.
How to share your location with Instagram map

Drawing your location on Instagram map is in. Your current location will not be shared on Instagram unless you actively choose to share it. What would be any posts in which they have a place tagged, something that has an option when adding photos and videos to your stories or grids.
Instagram provides you with four different sharing options for the map. You can share with:
Friends: Followers who follow
Close friend: Perucing already in the list of your closest friends
Just this friend: Specific people you choose
None of: Don’t share your location (except posts with tags)
So instagram map to fully disable the location sharing, or change that can see your location:
Tap on DMS icon In the top right corner.
Tap on Menu of location settings (Like the gear shape) in the top right corner.
And then tap “No one”To disable the location contribution.
Instead of choosing the “none”, follow the same steps, choose the other one of the other options for you to change your location, choose one of the other options.
How to share specific locations ever on Instagram map

Even more granular control over the location partnership, you can also add specific locations to the list of “hidden locations” that will never appear on the Instagram map on your visit. If you want to edit this list, open the map feature, then:
Tap on Location settings (Gear icon) In the top right corner.
Tap on Three Dot Menu In the corner of the menu of the settings.
Tap and Drag a pin To mark a hidden space on the map, and then Set up a radius With the slider around him.
Type Name Place and then tap What.
