Google’s Gemini app is ready to become more active.
From today, some gymnasium users can benefit from a new feature called “Schedule Actions” that allows the AI assistant to automatically handle specific tasks on repeated or timely tasks.
Google I/O has been announced and now both Android and iOS have been developed by users, scheduled action allows users to tell Gemini exactly what you want and when to do.
Now, whether it’s a weekly blog, a brain storm, a Daily News digest or a reminder of a timely event, Gemini can take care of you without asking you twice.

What are scheduled steps?

Like the Chat GPT works, scheduled steps allow you to automatically make indications with the Gemini app. You can say such things like:
“Send me a summary of calendar and email every week at 8 am”
“Give me 5 blog post ideas every Sunday.”
“Remind me about the appointment of my dentists at 2pm on Tuesday.”
Once you do repeated work, you can manage it at any time with the scheduled action page in the Gemini Settings menu.
This has included Gemini in a close competition with Chattagpat’s memory and third -party integration, which Google says will help users “informed, influenced and track on track.”
How is it compared to Chat GPT?

Chat GPT Task allows users to schedule everything from daily reminders to appointments within the Chat GPT app. This is then sent by email in the reminder app as well as email.
But what makes Gemini’s new scheduled operations competitive is that it is made directly in the app and works within the Google Environmental System, which allows users to automatically make repeated indicators and get active updates without work or leave Google Workpress.
It can be a game changer for people who regularly use Gmail, Google documents and more.
Availability
If you are not yet looking at the scheduled task page, the reason is that not everyone has access to it immediately.
This feature is now underway for users who qualify for Google AI premium subscriptions or Google Work Space Business or Education Plan.
This means that consumers at the lower level may still need to stick to chat GPT tasks. You will not yet see a scheduled action option.
However, knowing how Google often gives its best features for free, I just assume that the rest of us will not wait too much to try it.
Why does it make a difference
Gemini has been rapidly developed with new direct conversation features, video generation options and deep Google app integration. This latest feature seems promising and a user wants for a while: real automation without the need for third party tools or scripting.
Schedule measures mainly convert Gemini into a personal AI schedule that is also remembered for you to respond to the gestures and even for you to follow them, indicating that we are very close to the independent AI.
If you ever want your AI assistant to become a bit more like a real assistant, this is a huge step in the right direction – as long as you have the right monthly subscription.
