    • Gmail on smartphones now automatically offers AI-Infield summary for some emails.
    • Google says it applies to situations such as long email threads and messages with messages.
    • This feature is available for Gmail today on Android and iOS.

Google has been looking for a generative AI in many of its apps and services, and Gmail is not exempt from it. The company currently offers AI tools such as written aid and summary, and now it is making the latter feature more prominent.

Google has revealed on its workplace updates blog that the AI-infilled summary will now automatically display some emails in Gmail for Android and iOS. Earlier, you will need to tap the “Summary of this email” button in the app to create a summary.

These summary will be shown in emails where a summary is considered a helper. The company gives examples, especially with numerous answers such as long email threads or messages.

Google explained, “Gemini will combine all the important points with the e -mail thread, and after that, any answer will be a part of the summary, and all the summary will keep the latest.”

How often do you use AI features in Gmail?

Google says this feature is available in English today, though it may take 15 days to see it. The company added that you can still manually stimulate the e -generated summary for email by tapping the “Summary of this email” button. This is useful if you do not kill an automatic summary for your desired message or thread.

This automated summary should be helpful for many, though the scattered nature of the Generative A means that you still have to fully test more important email threads. Don’t care about these abstract? You can disable Gemini integration into Gmail and disable them, but you do this by losing other Gemini features (such as Gemini chat boots).
