DJI’s latest action camera, the OSMO Action 6, is now official. Its headline features are the large 1/1.1″ type sensor, variable aperture that ranges from F/2.0 to F/4.0, and four hours of battery life from its 1,950 mAh battery.
The camera has a native field of view of 155 degrees, and the new sensor offers up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range. It records in 4K in 4:3 at 120fps, and the company promises better low-light quality thanks to the larger sensor. Super Night mode captures 4K video clearly at 60fps in low-light conditions. DJI’s 10-bit D-LOG M color system preserves highlight and shadow detail for maximum flexibility in post. OSMO Action 6 has an on-screen DLogM preview for real-time color and exposure monitoring.

The new 4K Custom mode lets you shoot first and crop later in post, because the sensor is square. So there is no need to hold the camera vertically or horizontally. You can also get 2x unlimited zoom in 4K resolution, and of course there’s a full onboard stabilization system.
The camera is waterproof up to 20 meters without a case and up to 60 meters with a waterproof case sold separately. Its built-in color temperature sensor ensures true-to-life colors underwater, and a water pressure gauge records dives.

The battery charges to 80% in 22 minutes, and it also has 50GB of built-in storage. The main screen is 2.5″ with 400×712 resolution, the secondary one is 1.46″ with 342×342 resolution, both support 800 NIT peak brightness.
The Osmo Action 6 is priced at Rs 9,379 in its standard bundle, which includes the camera and Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus (1,950 mAh), Osmo Dual Direction Quick Release Adapter Mount, Osmo Action Rotating Adhesive Action, Osmo Locking Screw, USB CPD Cable, and USB CPD Cable.
Or you can get the Adventure Combo for ₹479. This gives you everything in addition to the standard combo plus two additional Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus, an additional OSMO Dual Direction Quick Release Adapter Mount, an additional OSMO Locking Screw, the Osmo Multifunctional Battery Case 3, and the OSMO 1.5m Extension Rod.
