I didn’t expect much when I first stranded the Vietnamese Smart Watch on my wrist, and at least it was supplied. This $ 40 Smart Watch makes basics: Notifications show, calculates your steps, tracks your heart rate (type) and allows you to call from your wrist. But all these features are implemented where all this starts to break, and I have achieved myself exactly what I paid.

After spending a week in testing it, I came with it: If you only want a basic smart watch that works with both Android and the iPhone, tells the time, tracks your steps and levels, it will do it, not just expect accuracy. But if you can raise your budget a bit, something like $ 75 Wonderful bip 6 Provides more accurate tracking, more better design and more reliable performance.

With $ 40, Giga looks like an Apple Watch Ultra Knock off.

Design and UI: Big, big and fundamental

With smart watches, Giga is not about. It looks like an Apple Watch Ultra imitation: metal frames around the rectangular screen, round edges and even icons like Apple Watch. But the match ends this place.

If your wrist is a little side like me (I have a 6 -inch wrist), then depend on it because it looks huge. The 48.5 mm case of giga has more power, and there is no small size option. On my wrist, he felt huge and out of place, and thick, textured silicone bands certainly did not help in matters.

The 2.04 -inch AMOLED display is decent with 386×448 resolution, but the screen brightness is not adaptive. You will need to adjust it manually, which means that at night it is almost very bright and does not have a border line in direct sunlight unless you manually increase the brightness.

This watch operates its own proprietary system, synchronizing the Whitt app and works with both Android and iOS. You will find notifications, basic fitness tracking, always a display (which eliminates the battery in my test fast) and the speaker/mic combo to respond to the calls.

The UI is straightforward but there is a lack of Polish. Swipe Wright opens your favorite and the side button allows you to start exercise quickly. Dynamic images make the screen feel strangely and long text scrubs to fit.

The non -adaptable screen on the White Giga is irreparable in the outside unless you crank it manually.

Battery life: not damaged but a catch

Battery life is one of the few things that is well tainted here. I used to use about three days with the Rice -to -Wack option, and about a day and a half with a display on display for about a day and a half. This price is not bad, and it is in fact better than some flagship smart watches.

But this manual comes with a large red flag: “Avoid fast charger” and don’t charge too much. This is not something you want to see in 2025, especially because at this point of my Smart Watch Charger Collection I do not know which one is fast, and which is not, and the vague warning forces me to think that if I make the wrong choice it is about to explode. It takes about two hours with a magnetic charger involved in charging the blank battery for about two hours. But once I left him in charge overnight and the next morning I went to him with terrorism thinking, I broke the principle of “not over -charged”. Fortunately, I came out without hiding.

Health and fitness tracking: Reduce your expectations

Exercise and fitness is a place where cracks really show. Yes, Giga technically tracks heart rate, blood oxygen (SPO 2), sleep, stress and menstrual cycle. But accuracy is best objectionable.

During exercise, when the chest strap and even other wrist -based trackers, the heart rate measurement was permanently closed. The post workout HR was close enough, but the matrix was shut down during exercise. For example, when I was sitting on my palette reform (completely absurd), I was starting exercise on the clock, the screen was already reading “100bpm”, while the chest strap and Apple Watch put me on 65 bpm. This also created doubts about me to read the heart rate comfortably.

Sleep tracking works only between 10am and 8am, namely, night shift workers or any corrupt schedule (like this writer at night) is out of fate.

Sleep statistics are also confused. Instead of a clear stages of sleep or hours of sleep, you find strange comparisons like “less than 26 % of people in your age group sleep late.” I don’t believe what I should do with this information.

Menstrualing tracking is purely manual manual, on average, in which no biological marker is known as temperature tracking. Even you can’t log directly from the clock and have to do it with the app.

Other features of the Smart Watch

    • Calls: As long as your phone is in the range, you can make phone calls from the watch with its speaker and mic and make phone calls, but the explanation is a problem.
    • Texting: You can see the texts from messaging apps, but you cannot answer and do not already send a response (when pairing the iPhone).
    • Voice Assistant: Technically available, but basically there is only one shortcut to activate your own phone assistant. You tap, and Siri or Google Assistant opens on your phone, not watch. Not helpful.
    • Quick Settings: Save your recently used apps in quick settings, which in fact made it easier to return between features such as exercise and music control – this is a win.

    Do you buy it?

White giga works at least the least work you expect from the Smart Watch, but at the cost of focus on accuracy and detail. $ 40 k, this is a practical notification mirror with a splash of phase tracking, call support and health features (if you are looking for a general review in the best way).

But if you can raise your budget, it offers some better price, health tracking, clean UI and battery life like $ 80 Amazfit BIP 6.

Bottom line: If you keep your expectations low, and the first time you are sinking toes in the smart watch waters, this can be enough. Otherwise, it is worth paying for something more than something that feels like a toy and more like a toll.
