I like very strange and unconventional films. I went to “Holly Motors” thinking that it would be one of the slow, RC French films that people just make excuses to understand. Instead, I found a brain maize total.
Star Dennis Lent manages to live a dozen different lives in a single night in the dream of a movie, and somehow feel real to everyone. Within a minute he is an actor of motion arrest in the Scoutite suit, the next he is eating cabbage flowers in cabbage and licking people.
Here is a lemon, a strange interval, a Kylie Manoog musical number, and none of it is defined. And for all these reasons, more and more, it may not be cool.

It looks like chaos, and it is – but it’s strangely emotional and beautiful. You won’t get fully (no one does), but you will feel it. If you are included in the films that you question the truth, “Holly Motors” is able to make a trip. And it has been running free for a very short time before it is removed. So if you want to check it, you don’t have much time left.

Monsier Oscar (Lent) is a mysterious man who spends his day in a white limousine around Paris, which started a series of wildly “assignments”. Each stop turns it into a new character. It can be a dead father, beggar woman, hitman, gutter monster, or really something. Everything is complete with makeup, dress, and a new identity.
The Oscar throws himself into every character like his life or death. Although he is not acting. If you can believe it, she is living a life after another.

One minute, the Oscar is stabbing a man in the suit. Next, he is comforting a dying daughter. After that, he is eating a wild -eyed troll that is eating flowers and the abduction model.
There is no explanation of who he is or why he is doing, and you shouldn’t really find anyone in the movie. His driver gives him a silent gesture, but never asks. The world around it only revolves around it. Even when it doesn’t make sense, which is often done, everyone with each one feels comfortable what is happening on the screen.
You began to wonder: Is he an actor? A puppet is it all for someone’s entertainment? Or does it, in the way he exists, permanently takes the status of someone else, because it is too much to live itself?
Finally, “Holi Motors” remains silent about its true intentions. It just leaves you with a strange feeling that the performance of maintaining an Oscar (and the rest of us) is the only thing.

You should stream the “Holly Motors” because it really is nothing more, and Levant offers a very crazy, determined performance that you will never see.
