According to Qualcomm, Wi -Fi will improve many improvements and reliability, including multi -Access Point coordination and smooth roaming. The next wireless standard is currently being developed as part of the ‘Ultra -High Vishwas’ (UHR) move in partnership with various firms, including US chipmaker. It is not expected that the standard of Wi -Fi 8 will be finalized by 2028, but Qualcomm has already revealed the improvement of the reliability of wireless networks, which is expected to reach Wi -Fi 8.

WiFi 8 to improve the reliability of networks with a smooth roaming, lower delay

Referring to the IEEE scope document, Qualcomm says improvement in Wi -Fi -8 will be offered such as low -fatty in P95, high -thropped in sheep areas, and improved roaming between access points. The Wi-FI 8 will also improve communication from Monday (P2P), while promoting power efficiency and offers “wired grade” reliability.

The Wi-FI 7 (IEEE802.11BE), the latest Wi-Fi networking standard, offers several improvements in performance compared to the Wi-FI 6, which includes features such as faster transmission rates and flexible channel use. It was developed under a very high -throw (EHT) move, focusing on improving indoor and outdoor operations.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm says the UHR move is focused on improving the reliability of wireless networks, while Wi -Fi -7 and Wi -Fi 6 have provided better performance and performance, respectively. The chipmaker also highlights new types of wireless devices, which are expected to be widely used in the coming years, including increased reality (AR) glasses and other clothing. Qualcomm, Samsung, and Google are also working on AR glasses.

In the five major fields where WiFi is offered more than 8 reliable network performance, they include multiple access points (seamless roaming), high power performance locations and client devices, better coexistence with other wireless protocols, improved with better performance, better performance.

The IEEE 802.11BN standard is still in development, and it is expected that it will be finalized only in March 2028. However, both Qualcomm and Medetic have emphasized the benefits of Wi -Fi 8 networks, and their efforts have been sought to contribute to the upcoming wireless standards, which are likely to help with the end of the decade.
