- Kobo recently forwarded the fully re -designed reading app for iPhones
- A number of new features were added, including audiobock control, vertical scrolling and a guest format.
- InstaPaper integration is coming soon to replace pocket support on Cobo Erriders
Ever since I started using the Cobo Glowway for the first time, I have been a massive Cobo fan. I have always preferred to burn the UI of the Recotion-owned company, though I would recognize that I did not want its phone app especially-whether it was iOS or Android.
I probably try the readings app once, because the iOS version is fully re -designed – the first major overview of it since it was released in 2010.
Numerous new features were added, the key to vertical scroll. Treating the web pages more like an infinite script, you can now just scroll and read a whole book and the pages will only be loading. This, in my opinion, is a more smooth way to read on the phone, though I think I still prefer a tape -turn on a member (it’s not that I use a, I read on Kobo Alpsa 2E).

Other features include a new listener bar for audioboxes that ‘freeze’ the control of easy access, even if you get away from the listening pan so that the rest of the application is browse.
A new guest mode will allow you to “browse books, save previews and discover your next reading”, according to the Japanese-Canadian editor, you do not have to sign your couch account. In fact, this is an intelligent way to draw new users into the Cobo Environmental System.
Kobo also says that you will no longer need to manually harmonize your notes, highlights and books – it should be done automatically. The app still has a major lost feature: There is no way to find your handwritten notes on the app.
And, finally, to change the pocket integration-which was a great reading service for long-form web articles-this brand is in partnership with InstaPaper and will be supported by all the editors of Kobo later this year. The certified date has not yet been announced.

Note, Cobo – We need a new Alpsa
As much as I appreciate the newly designed Kobo app for iPhones, I am wondering if the editor maker will release a new hardware this year.
The month of May is usually around the month when Kobo announced in 2024 new prisoners arriving on the schedule of Labra Clerk, Clara Clerk and Clara BW. This year, there is a radio silence, though it may be possible that the company is waiting for InstaPaper to be completed before releasing new equipment.
It would be amazing because it is time now that Kobo Alpsa 2E made a revision. In fact, I will not even object to the new version of the Cobo Sage, but I am part of a large appper written pill.
Compared to new competition models, such as several BOX options and burning series (2024), Alpsa 2 EE – which was launched in April 2023 – now feels a lot of history. They have better performance thanks to new processors and screens make fresh – faster and better.
I would love to adopt Alpsa E -Ink Carta 1300 screen (uses the current 2 e -Model Carta 1200), which also features a lightweight sensor, such as 2024 coils scratch doses, and has 300 PPI resolution (this is currently 227ppi). I would also prefer a soft nib compared to Cobo Styls 2, which currently uses because it can be removed from a smooth writing experience, but it is a slight coal.
Although I don’t want to change too much in the UI, and I am still a fan of Kobo’s modern notebooks, but I just have the request to allow the sub -folders in the library collections to better manage the e -box.
Beautiful please, Kobo, I’m asking well so that I can be in love with Alpsa again.
