    • Color users have begun to see a number of entries in their activity history from May 28 that they do not recognize.
    • The color insists that no accounts have been compromised, and it is just a bug that shows false information.
    • Consumers are still pressing for more answers, as report entries for some devices they never own.

Connecting smart cameras to the Internet allows us to access our feeds from anywhere, get warnings and check what is happening at home, no matter where we are. But for all these benefits, we also have to believe that contact management companies keep our camera private – otherwise, we are going to end with another scandal as we have faced visas three years ago. If you are a color user, you may already be wondering if your privacy is violated, as a result of some confused information that is popped into the app’s control center.

Share color that this is currently “a problem where information is misrepresenting” (via Via Zdnet) In a Facebook post today, we get some more details, adding that this is especially “a bug that misrepresent the login dates before 28 May 2025.”

Social media reports are justified, with consumers confusing them with several entries on May 28 in their date of their use. But after lifting some eyebrows more than this date, many users are also watching contacts with the equipment they do not know on their own.

In response to this Facebook post the color offers a little background:

The color created a passenger update, which resulted in the results of the pre -login dates to show the client devices wrongly like May 28, 2025, and the device’s names have been misrepresented to display the wrong manner as “the device’s name not found”.
The devices you see in your authorized client devices were the equipment with which you had previously logged into your account. These may include devices you no longer use. There is no indication of compromising your account as a result of this problem.

The problem is, some consumers strongly dispute that all those devices are their own – even the elderly – and still pushing for answers. Although the color is mentioned by looking “The Device Name” is not found, this is not what users are reporting – they are getting specific, designated hardware they don’t have, as in Preston’s post:

During all of this, the color insists that this is a problem with seeing bad information with consumers – and not that none of the third parties reflect the actual efforts to access their cameras. It says, communications around the incident have been far more contradictory than our choice, and it is easy to understand why the colors are so worried.

Rang says it is working on a fix, but it still remains the bug.
