“Project Hill Mary” was not my movie on my radar. But after the MGM studios just saw the trailer, this could be one of the most expected films of the next 12 months.
On the basis of comments on YouTube, I am not alone.
This science -fi adventure is based on the 2021 novel by the movie Andy Were, the most famous for writing “Martin”. Although this new book is not something I know, it is clear that it has many devotees.
You can like
It can sometimes be a version of disaster for a film or show, but it seems that the books that like them are not ready for the film. After seeing this trailer, I’m with them.

In the “Project Hale Mary”, Ryan Gosaling has stars as a Relind Grace, which is awakened by a trapped coma in space. As he said, he was “not astronaut.”
Although he appears, though, humanity is the last hope.
In this alternative version of the earth, our sun is dying, as our galaxy has mostly the sun – except one, except the Tao City system.
So Eva Strat (Sandra Haller) has kept a team and a ship together to find out why, in hopes, it can somehow save our solar system. The team’s success, it needs grace, which is apparently a doctorate in molecular biology, despite just a school teacher.
‘Martin’ + Hope that friendly stranger = ‘Project Hill Mary’
After watching this trailer only once (let me stay with me multiple times), it is clear that the film is immediately compared to “The Martin” and “Interestler”.
I fully expect it to be more jointly shared with the former, although it usually travels from space in a frustrated hope to save the “humanity” plot of “humanity” to humanity. The books written by the ware are not both projects Hill Mary and “The Martin”, but the screenplay is written by both Drew Goddard.
So it is not surprising that this trailer feels like “Martin”. From Matt Demon’s plants astronaut Dr. Mark Watney, you do not have to make a huge leap to compare the grace of Gosaling, a teacher of middle school science with a doctorate.
You get the same combination of humor in the cold, unforgivable nature of space travel. There is even a promise auxiliary cast – a major power of “The Martin” – which includes Lionel Boyce from “The Bear” and Ken Living from the “Industry”.
Of course, there is one thing in this movie that was not “The Martin”, which is a stranger.
Based on the trailer’s YouTube comments, it is clear that Grace’s relationship with this stranger, “Rocky”, is a highlight of the film. When it comes to March 20, 2026, I can’t wait to find for myself.
