Google reassembles search results with its new AI-Curated ‘Web Guide’

On Thursday, Google launched a web guide, which is a new AI -powered search feature that links group helpful ways for people who are involved in the tests on the labs. The web guide runs on the customs version of Google’s Gemini AI model to take action on search questions, set the results and reorganize traditional “10 Blue Links” by finding relevant questions using Generative AI.

For everyone who chooses to enable the web guide, it is currently available on the same “web” tab on Google Search that currently shows search results without adding AI review. It uses the same “queries fan out technique” like the AI format, which gives Gemini a lot of searches to break the questions and at the same time.

When I searched “Mang Tree Care How to Care”, Google’s Web Guide draws two related web pages, followed by AI -infield summons and links under various categories, such as “care of mango trees in specific climate” and “mango tree problems.” Some links came from educational resources, such as Florida University, while others were YouTube videos, Koura and Redded Threads. Last year, Google signed a Million 60 million each year with Reddate to use its content for AI training.

It is a good thing that the web guide brings back some of the traditional searching elements, such as showing you the link in the upper part of the page of your results instead of bombing with AI reviews and YouTube videos that pick up half of the page. The AI category was somewhat helpful for detecting specific pieces of information, but the details below each heading appear to be unnecessary.

For example, the web guide note, under the “mango tree care leaders”, “the most effective way to care for the mango tree is slightly different in terms of its age, location and specific cultivation, so it is useful to consult with multiple leaders,” and some of the most important links. “

You can also use a web guide to ask more detailed or specific questions, such as “My family is spreading in numerous time zones. Who are the best tools to stay connected and close the relationship despite the distance?” AI results will try to resolve different parts of your question.

You can still go back to regular web results, but Google is already saying that it plans to bring it to the “All” tab. You can just try the web guide by togeling on the test in search labs.
