The results of last week’s survey are clear – POCO F8 Ultra is not the best flagship, but it is definitely the best POCO F8 model. And to be fair, it’s not trying to be the best flagship. It’s priced so aggressively low that it makes people question whether they really need the high-end features.
Poco’s site still lists the Ultra at an early bird price of €700 for the 256GB version and €750 for the 512GB one. However, they are showing “out of stock” (also, Amazon’s short price was for 50 650/€ 700). For comparison, the Relme GT 8 Pro is €1,100 for the 512GB unit (note: it comes with a free 120W charger and a Realme key clip).
That’s quite a price difference, isn’t it? Anyway, we’re sure the line will have great discounts too. As one commenter says, you can wait 6 months and get a killer deal.
The Poco F8 Ultra flaunts a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, but people aren’t happy about the lack of proper cooling. The screen, which falls well short of its official brightness target, is another concern.
The Poco F8 Pro offers an attractive deal—Snapdragon 8 Elite power (not Gen 5, but still) for mid-range money. However, that 8MP ultra-wide camera rubbed some people the wrong way. Right now, if you can get an F7 Ultra for the same price (and it’s getting harder but not impossible), the older Ultra is the better choice.

In the above chart you can clearly see that people have a strong preference for the Poco F8 Ultra over the Pro. Depending on how the exemption ends, however, this could change.
Note that many commenters have reported that the Poco F8 models are out of stock in their region, so you may have to wait a bit if you want to buy one.
