The state of Netflix sports
The Netflix Games Library has extended more than 120 mobile titles that can be viewed on the Netflix app and can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Store. All games are advertised free and they do not have the app purchase.
In March last year, Heads were added to the Netflix Games on the iOS. The famous game was first released on Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac in 2020 and a year later was launched at the PlayStation and Xbox platform.
Netflix has called for bringing big topics such as Heads and Grand Stolen Auto: The Tri. According to a report last year, the GTA trial has been resumed. However, the performance of other sports in the service is unclear.
In October 2024, Netflix closed one of its triple-A gaming studios, Blue, who was allegedly working on a new IP.
