Holo Knight: The Holoc night of 2017 is ready to launch at Sequel, Silicong, 2025, but there is some confusion around the timeline. After a prolonged silence by the developer team Cherry, the Metrodonia Action Title was confirmed to launch in 2025 in the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct presentation in April. On Sunday, at the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft announced that the Holoco Knight: Slaxong Holiday will be the launch title for the new Xbox brand -branded Rogue Eli Hands, released in Holiday 2025. Now, Team Cherry has finally made it clear that the game will start before the beginning of the holiday season later this year.
Hollow Night: Silicong launching before the Sicking 2025
After the revelation of the new handhelds in the showcase, Sarah Bond, president of the Xbox, said, “Extremely expected hollow knight: Silksong Launch and Game Pass will be available when the coalition will be released later this year.” The ROG Xbox Eli and Rog Xbox El X have been planned to launch in the sixth 2025, which confirms that Silksong will be available as a launch title during the same window.
But Team Cherry has made it clear that the game is not linked to the start of the upcoming handhelds and will arrive before the holiday season starts this year.
“I had already confirmed before the holiday – we are not linked to the release of the console,” Matthew Griffin, who handles marketing and posting for the title in Team Cherry, wrote on Silicong’s officially dirty channel (the way Urugmer has seen).
For the first time in this update, Team Cherry has confirmed that Holoco Knight: Slaxong will launch at some time in 2025. While the studio has confirmed a wide release window – before the holiday 2025, the release date is yet to be announced. However, the game has been confirmed to launch in PC (Linux, Windows, Mac), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. It will also be available at the Xbox Game Pass one day.
Holo Knight: The first announcement of Silksong was made in 2019 and was delayed indefinitely in 2023. Team Cherry had practically retained radio silence on the title, but confirmed that it was in progress, before the 2025 certified release window was shown in the Nintendo Direct in April.
The game follows the Hornet, a former Hallonist princess who appeared as a supplementary role in the first game. Silicong is based in a new kingdom, where Hornet must fight deadly enemies when it travels to the fort at the height of the kingdom.
