Xiaomi is ready to unveil the 17 series later this month, and before the company’s president, Lo Vibing, Zumi 17 went to Webo to compare the 17 Pro Max with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. You can see his hands with both in the short video below.
His talk was to eliminate people’s concerns that Xiaomi copied a camera Island design from Apple – he basically saying that you can see how different they are. But, if you ignore the Zumi screen to capture the island, we can’t really see that much difference.

Xumi says the design was affected by MI11 ultra from 2021, and if you believe it is your choice. Similarly, the company insists that it is not jumping on the 16 generation to align with Apple’s name scheme, which is just ridiculous that it is considering that even “Pro Max” is bringing to the table.
Lu says the 17 series will be available in China before October 1, and confirms that they will be the first equipment equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite General 5 sack on September 23, which will be unveiled on September 23.
Xiaomi 17 Pro will cost between CNY 5,000 and CNY 6,000 ($ 700 to $ 850), while Pro Max will cost between CNY 6,000 and CNY 7,000 (50 850 to $ 1,000). These are clearly Chinese market prices, and if they both launch internationally, expect heavy premiums from above.

The previous screen can be used to display call handling, music control, travel information, vomiting, and it can act as a complete camera voweler so that you can raise your selfies by using the back camera to carry them. Lou describes it as a cover display on foldable flip phones.
