There may be a fun way to save and share memories, but sometimes it can be difficult to get a good picture. For example, if you are taking selfies, you may find it difficult to keep your phone at the right angle so that everyone can be added to the shot and keep your hand away from the frame and still suppress the arrest button. But when Apple has released iOS 26 this fall this fall, it will allow you to use your air pods to take photos so that you can worry about getting the best angle of each.

Apple August 7 released the second public beta of iOS 26, and they brought a new liquid glass design and other new features to the iPhones of beta developers and beta testers. Beta also introduced a camera remote for Air Pods, which allows you to take photos with a press on your air pod. But you have to enable this feature and it only works with air pods that have H2 chip, such as Air Pods 4 or Air Pods Pro 2.

If you have a pair of these air pods, here is to find a camera remote option and how to use it.

Don’t forget, Apple is still testing the son 26. This means that the update can be small for you and your device’s battery life can be affected, so it is better to keep these problems away from your basic device. If you want to test the beta, I recommend downloading it on the secondary device.

It is also possible to adjust the remote option, and other updated features of the Apple camera, before releasing the final version of iOS 26 this fall.

    How to activate Camera Remote

    1. Connect your compatible air pods with your iPhone.
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Tap your air pods in the settings menu.
    4. Tap Camera Remote Under camera control.

In the new menu, you can also choose Press once Or Press and Thame. This means how you will press the trunk on your own air pods. Whatever you prefer.

Now you can use your air pods to drag the photo or shoot the video in the camera.

What to know about the use of your air pods to take a picture

Once a camera remote is enabled, you can use your air pods to take photos or shoot video with any camera mode, such as portraits and time passes.

When you use your air pods to take a picture in a stable condition or portrait, you will see three counts in the upper left corner of your image frame. The flash of your iPhone will also be illuminated during counting to tell you that a picture is going to be taken. If you are taking selfies, you will only see a numerical count on your screen.

The three -second countdown is automatically enabled and I can’t find a way to disable it. You can expand your camera counting in the upper right corner of your screen and extend your camera to count. Timer And tap either 5s or 10s. You can tap the 3s, but this will not change the countdown.

When you take the video using your air pods, you won’t see the timer or anything. Pressing your air pods is like pressing the record button on your iPhone. Then you press your air pods again to stop the recording.

It is important to note that the camera remote only works when at least one airpod is connected to your phone. The easiest way to do this is to put an airpod in your ear. If you want to take a picture but don’t want your an airpood to show in the picture, you can activate the photo process with a camera remote, take the air pod out of your ear during a three -second count and hold it in your hands or pocket until your iPhone takes the picture.

For more information about iOS 26, how to enable my first impressions of the iOS version, how to make the beta screening in the beta and all other new features, Apple said that the update will bring your device later this year.
