Alaanzi Glidego Travel Tripai: Two -minute Review
When you think about polite tripod and all the variations available, it is difficult to imagine that a slight difference is possible on the classic three -foot design. But Alnazi has only done that with the Alnazi Glidego Travel Tripod and Glidego video Tripai.
Before the details, the two tripods are exactly the same, except the head, both legs and basic hair head design are built around the design. This is the handle as well as the video model’s fluid pan and the movement of the tilt, which is the difference.
Oh yes, and even the handle has a secretly hidden tool cut to adjust the tripod. This head makes the video model slightly and heavy than the standard model, but its movements that allow it are impressive.
Both tripods have also presented an articulating center column, which is rare for travel tripods, and it gives you the opportunity to put a camera at many different angles. In addition, the video version, along with a 360 degree pan mechanism on both the center column and the head, can achieve movements like the gym with this feature.
I love this feature and creative camera angles and movements that are allowed, which I have never seen with any tripod before, especially the video travel tripod. The head of this tripod presents a fluid pan and tilt design that provides smooth motion without a judge, which is essential for video.
A video tripod feature that is missing, however, is an equal base. They are used to equal the head of a tripod without need to equalize the feet.
The route around it comes to the fact that the video features are made on a ball head with a pan mechanism above the hair joint. It cleverly and effectively imitates the effect of a surface base, while also provides a rapid setup in light weight and highly portable travel triple. Then there are some 1/4in and Arri growing thread to attach accessories.
These are a tripod where the head itself is an integral part of the overall package and cannot be changed. It is important to be aware because the head becomes more important to the purchase decision than a tripod where the head can be changed. He said, both the head options work very good and avoid the camera slippery thanks to the clip lock, which makes the hair common.
I have never seen this design on a ball head before, and it is more efficient than low -end and middle -distance hair heads that use traditional locking noob/dial. Glidego tripods are used instead of Arc Swiss instead of Alnazi UK and F -38 tripod plates, so you can’t use L -brackets with heads unless there is a 1/4in screw thread in L. As most hair heads are like, a sign allows you to keep the camera in a portrait format, so you can shoot vertically.
The tripod plate uses a locking system where you push it into the head to engage it in the lock, press the button to lock the button and then slide and press to release the button. It is much faster than a noob style lock and easy to use, though I can’t say that it is better or worse-worse-this is just another approach that works and is a clean way to lock and release.
The overall construction quality of both tripods is excellent, with four carbon fiber legs parts that provide an impressive level of hardness and help, especially consider the narrow diameter of the most thin bottom part. The legs are stored by clips instead of twist locks, and I found them sharp, reliable and positive when working with both tripods.
The standard hair head version offers a height of 16.1×72.4in / 41-184 cm and weighs 3.44lbs / 1.56kg. The video version provides a height range of 17.3×73.6in / 44-187 cm and weighs 3.88lbs / 1.76kg. Let’s just forget the number for a second and put it in context. This means that you can keep your camera more than six feet with these tripods, which is high for compact travel tripods.
Both tripods load a maximum of 39.68lbs / 18kg, which is slightly misleading because this figure refers to legs, while the head has a maximum 11lbs / 5kg. It is still a commendable pay load that can comfortably support the majority of camera and lenses, but is far from the headline data.
Going back to the artcalutting center column, which is one of the specified features of tripods, also offers a telescope function. This is the place where a vertical part is hidden in a vertical part until it is removed, and then the outer part can be left in position or lifted to increase the height of the tripod.
When needed, there is a useful hook below the outer part of the tripod to add weight and stability, as well as a small hook on the inner column as well as if needed, add a counter balance.
Although it is all great when increasing angles, vision and tripod height, this means that you cannot sprinkle legs to describe the center column at a lower angle. Instead, you can place the legs at their ‘standard’ angle and describe the interior of the center’s column downward. This means that the camera is upside down, but you can shoot at low angles. This is strange, but to be fair, it works.
