According to a new report about the supply of OLED panels coming from South Korea, Apple has said about launching its first MacBook Pro Model with the OLED display at the end of 2026.
According to reports, the Samsung Display may be the only provider of OLED panels for these new MacBook Pro models. It is said that Samsung’s general is due to heavy investment in 8.6 OLED production lines.
Basically, the general 8.6 lines use large glass substrates that are the best of laptops and monitor panels. These lines also offer low power consumption technology technology and can be easily scaled, which reduces manufacturing costs.
Due to Samsung’s investment, it is said that Tech Dev in South Korea can easily meet Apple’s demand for these OLED MacBook panels next year.
The rumor about the MacBook Pro model with the OLED display is not new, and we have already heard numerous reports about it. If Apple can also make MacBook thinned without hurting battery life, this is a win. But overall, I’m excited. 2026 feels far away, but if waiting means a beautiful, better Macbook, I think it will be worth it.
