Certified as a certified Sleep Science Coach and a five -year maturity tester, I am not relieved to be part of many people’s sleep hygiene weapons. For some people, the perfect sound track can be white noise. Others IT, it can be a completely different color – sometimes on their phone, but often a sound machine courtesy. If your sound machine or app offers different types of different color sounds, how do you know what they mean, or what can be better for your brain?

How is the noise “color coded”

Let’s continue our Sheldon Cooper for a minute and set up why some noise is classified in colors. Like lights, the sound travels. Hearts (Hearts) is the number of waves, the frequency of the sound wave, which goes through a special point in a second. The loud sounds contain high frequency (and short wavelengths), low pitch sounds have less frequency (and long wavelengths). The human ear can distinguish sounds from 20 Hz from 20 Hz on low ends to 20,000 Hz.

As far as the colors are concerned? In this part of the light spectrum that we can see, different frequencies from our eyes are considered as different colors. Through imitation, the “color” of sound is a brief way to describe the quality of this sound, which is determined by a special combination of the frequency of the sound wave. (People with an extraordinary condition, called Sinsthezia, literally look color with some sounds, but this is a different topic.)

Most people are familiar with “white noise” machines – in fact they are very important to sound machines. Just as white light contains all the shown colors, the white noise adds all the sound frequency of the sound together. The result is similar to the noise, which is the background of your daily life. Some refer to it by running TV static or from a fans – which makes the key procedure in my favorite sound machine, snops (below).

Walking around 20,000 kilos that humans can hear – white noise is all at the same time. If you live in a high environment like a city or with roommates, white noise can be a helpful source for you. It will not be “canceled”, such as the honor of the harms, as the noisy headphones do, but it can “masked” the sounds that interrupt. Basically, joint frequencies reduce the noise so that your brain does not raise them so much.

    Pink

Some say pink noise is a great voice for sleeping. Like white noise, it contains all the frequencies we can hear, but it emphasizes the lower frequency rather than putting all the frequencies in one loud, as white noise. As a result, some people are described as “flat noise” which is softened with understanding. It is often attributed to rain or sea waves. Some studies show that it promotes deep sleep and also calms the activity of the brain so you fall asleep.

    Brown noise

Brown noise “Everything about this boss is.” Like a pink noise, it also increases the dimensions of low frequency, so they are more prominent – but even more. The result is the sound of a deep rumor. If you prefer to sleep with thunder sparkle or like these breaks of sound BoomSo to talk, the brown noise can be color for you.

    Green noise

If you feel like a “green color” with green noise, you won’t be too far from the outside. Instead of playing all frequencies at once, like white and pink noise, the green noise emphasizes 500 Hz, which is considered mid -frequency. If you are in the mood to chase water in your dreams (hope you get a reference), the green noise is like water and air sound. So listen to the waterfalls, the waves and the air through the trees on the material of your heart.

    The noise of blue

All the noise types are low unless the point is within the mid -frequency limit. But the blue noise really increases the dial and prefers high frequency. Clean, it can be more hit or missed in terms of sleep. Some people may get a voice (some of the steam whistles) are better than the Better to work or to be vigilant.

    Violet noise

Violet noise increases the frequency more than a blue noise. Basically this is the opposite of brown noise. Everyone is different, but I can’t even imagine that gold will be done.

    Pump the bat

The use of sound to promote sleep and all the methods that affect your brain and health are still being researched and found. However, whenever you want, you can experience these noise with these different types of noise and see who you answer (or instead, most).
