Instagram photos and video sharing platforms are producing three new features. The company says its new Instagram map feature is designed to show users to showcase their friends’ locations on the map, and is influenced by the Snapmap feature provided by rival Snapchat. Instagram will also allow users to re -post rails and posts like tickets and watch a new friend tab on trains. Others will also see what the user has posted on his profile.
Instagram brings Post, Friends Tabs for Consumers in India
The Meta -owned social media platform announced that it was introducing three new features, and Gadget 360 was able to confirm that the post and the Friends section in the Relisses tab is already available to consumers in India. Meanwhile, the Instagram map feature that is currently available in the United States with location sharing.
The first feature allows Instagram users to re -post public rails and posts from other users, and their friends and followers will also be recommended. These posts will also appear in a separate tab on the user’s profile, which will create a reserved documents to see people again. However, the rails and posts posted have been submitted to the original poster.

An Instagram user will show the creator’s creator’s rails and posts published by a user who do not follow them, which potentially increases their content access. According to the blog, someone can just tap on the newly added icon and re -post the rail or post. People will also have the choice to add notes to the content they have shown on the screen by typing the “thought bubble”, after pressing the Safe button.
How does the new Instagram map work work
The new Instagram map has been greatly affected by the Snap Chat -like feature that shows people’s location. Instagram users will have the option to share their last active location with their friends of their choice, as well as shut down their wishes. It will also show them the content they follow are posting from different places. The app will update the user’s location every time the app is opened.
Instagram says the location sharing is disabled as default, and consumers have to turn it on manually. The social media app also allows people to customize their location. In addition to selecting who can access their Instagram map, parents can monitor their teenage location sharing settings on the app. Instagram will send a notification to parents or guardians when their children begin to share their position with others.
In the upper part, Instagram map will show location -based content. Tagged content from location on the map will be shown, such as rails, posts, and people’s stories that follow the user, which will be available for 24 hours after posting, as well as other users notes mutually following. The Instagram map, which is currently only available in the United States, has been included in the inbox section.
The third and final feature brings a new ‘Friends’ section to the rails tab. People will be able to see joint rails with which others have either talked or are part of the compound recommendations. Instagram claims that users will be able to start discussing the content posted. Currently available in India, this feature can also be customized to hide comments on the user’s choice and rails, as well as silence the activity bubbles from others who follow them.
