Honor X70 was launched with 8,300mah silicon carbon battery earlier this month. The handset claims to provide GPS navigation for 15.6 hours on the same charge. Now, the new leak out of China suggests that a device is being developed with more battery capacity in honor. It is said that the next handset has been asked to pack 10,000 mAh battery, possibly using the upgrade version of silicon carbon battery technology. If true, this will make it one of the mainstream smartphone -fitting batteries.
10,000 mAh battery with Honor Smartphone can be in work
Earlier this month, the Webster digital chat station (translated from the Chinese) said that an unknown Chinese OEM is planning to test a middle -range smartphone in the first half of 2026. Despite the large battery capacity, this device is expected to retain a thin profile and may be less than 8.5 mm thick. In a recent post about Webo, Tipster now claims that the device has gone to the NPI (introduction to the new product), which shows that development is developing.
The exact name of the smartphone was not mentioned in the Development in the Webo Post. However, speculations have already begun, many users have suggested that the device may be a rumored Honor Power 2, which will be likely as a successor to Honor Power. The latter was launched in April 2025 with 8,000 MAH silicon carbon battery.
It seems that the honor is ready to enhance battery capabilities in both its middle distance and flagship smartphones. A recent leakage indicates that the upcoming Honor flagship model may include batteries between 7,020mah and 7,200mAh. Meanwhile, it is said that the middle -range devices are equipped with large batteries, from 8,200mAh to 8,400mAh.
The brand unveiled Honor X70 in China with 8,300mAh battery. It is promoted that up to 18 hours of screen time, up to 15.6 hours for navigation time and 27 hours of “short video” playback time on the same charge. The honor is not alone in preferring large batteries. Another Chinese brand, OPPO, recently introduced 13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, both packing 7,000 MAH battery with support for 80W fast charging. Similarly, Realmi launched its Railm 15 Pro 5G and Railm 15 5G in India with 7,000 MAh batteries last week.
