    tl; drag

    • The Galaxy S26 series can not only dig the Plus model, but can also kill the standard model.
    • The evidence found in the construction of an internal UI 8 is proposed to the Galaxy S26 Pro, the Galaxy S26 Age, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra lineup.
    • This means that the Samsung base model can name “Pro” and change the “Plus” model with Edge.

The next largest release of Samsung is The Galaxy S26 series, behind the launch of its latest foldables. Earlier, it was reported that Samsung could completely leave the “Plus” model in 2026 and introduce the “Edge” model in its place. If these rumors are maintained, the lineup will include the Galaxy S26, the S26 Age, and the S26 ultra. But the axis of Samsung’s re -branding and strategy may go beyond that.

We have revealed compulsory evidence within an internal UI 8, pointing to a high shake -up in the Galaxy S26 lineup. According to the code names and the original device names we have revealed, there may be no standard or vanilla “Galaxy S26” model next year. Instead, Samsung’s upcoming flagship series consists of three models: Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Age, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Let’s break it.

You are reading the story of the authority insight. Discover more special reports, the app’s tears, leaks, and depth tech coverage that you won’t find anywhere else.

Galaxy S26 Series: The biggest shake -up in the years

For the Galaxy S24 lineup, Samsung allegedly used the internal code name “Eurica” with E1, E2, and E3, respectively with E1, E2, and E3. The Galaxy S25 series was exemplified by the code name, which was labeled with individual models with PA1 (S25), PA2 (S25 Plus), and PA3 (S25 Ultra).

Previous reports pointed to the Galaxy S26 series interior codeniums NP1, NP2, and NP3, in which the “NP” stands as the next example. However, our searches from an UI 8 firmware contradict these first leaks. Instead, the internal, M1, M2, and M3, refer to three devices labeled, which, respectively, Galaxy S26 Pro, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra (see screenshots from the firmware above).

From here things get interesting. In the previous lineup, the number “1” represented the base model. But now, it seems that “M1” is not a standard version, the Pro is associated with the variable. If the twenty S26 model was present, it logically falls under “M0” or perhaps “M4”, but there is no sign of these code names.

What could mean for Samsung’s strategy

If this branding is held, Samsung is replacing its entire lineup to reflect the more premium -focused perspective. By moving the “base” model to the “Pro”, by turning the “Plus” in the form of an “edge”, and keeping the ultra from top, Samsung is likely to indicate the price increase. The “Pro” label recommends better sunglasses of twenty versions or more price than the current entry level Galaxy S25 model.

What do you think about Samsung’s potential Galaxy S26 line -up changes?

I’m so excited: change is good, and I’m interested in what they do.

I’m not sure yet. It depends on sugars and prices.

Not fans. I didn’t like the edge, and I don’t want a Prayer Base model

Terrible moves just bring back the classic lineup (standard, pulse, and ultra).

Of course, these insights are based on our results from the internal construction of One UI 8. Samsung’s last project can be changed before the Galaxy S26 series is formally unveiled. That said, the evidence is closely upright with the previous rumors about the potential removal of the Plus model, and Lauret supports the first indicator of Yogesh Barr, who also indicated a branding attempt, though it is not in accordance with the construction of an UI 8. Although Samsung has not confirmed anything until it is official, all the signs point to the Galaxy S26 series next year.
