A few days ago, we got our first official form on the DJI Romo – the brand’s robot for the first time in vacuums – and the more I get more information about this amazing new addition to the DJI lineup, I am so interesting that when it comes to its formation, how to form it.
It certainly looks cool. Tech Lakes Egor Bogadanov (alias @Kodro_ News) and teaser trailer DJI leakr @jesperlines have shown curves with transparent plastic cover – and if you look closely, you have both video clip and teaser trailer. This is an unusual design choice and will definitely stand against the contestant models, even if I have my concerns that it is visible over time (it is good that the DJI is offering a version that does not appear as an alternative).
Although the DJI logo cannot be found anywhere on this product and since #Mavicair I have seen that this is the first white plastic … The official Chinese #Djiromo account today has shown this small video teaser, showing that they will launch their first vacuum cleaner on August 6. Interestingly, peeking inside the dock does not reveal any water tank. These days, almost all the best robots have tremendous abilities in vacuums. You don’t need A tank of water in the dock itself will have only a small integrated storage in some models – to be able to mop the boot itself. However, they are cheaper, more basic robots.
You can like
The middle -range boats often have a clean water tank in the dock, and the water reservoirs have to be re -filled automatically. Shift in the premium category and you can expect extra waste water tanks, and automatic moups wash capabilities. Unless some tanks are removed from the eyes, it seems that Romo will not offer.

I guess moping and self -cleaning tech are not in areas where DJI will be naturally expected to. This brand is known to make the best drone in the market, and there is no crossover. This is contrary to navigation and object -avoiding tech, which is very important in both drones and robots vacuums. I would expect the Romo’s navigation skills to be advanced.
A premium suggestion?
We do not yet have pricing for the DJI Romo, but I assumed that the DJI would position its first robovic as a premium selection, which would compete with features and sunglasses.
This cannot happen. We have an example of a huge brand that is trying to make waves in the robot vacuum market with a relatively basic basic model: Dyson and its 360 Wes Navy. It was not Dysen’s first robuk, but it was an important launch in the area, and seven years. In this case, Dyson offered limited abilities.
Dyson is firmly a premium brand, so it was not surprising (though it usually works more to justify its high prices). With the DJI, things are more in the air … no pin is intended. On the one hand, we have the Employe, the first and only Ebek of the DJI, which is a very premium suggestion.

However, the drones, which are known to the ultra cheap (from its rise tello line) to a very high end, is permanently that they always have a very important price for money, often reduce similar rivals. ۔
So the jury went out where the Romo could sit in the market. It will not be too late to wait for us to know in any way. The latest teaser trailer shows that DJI Romo will launch on August 6. This will happen in China – I expect Romo to go abroad to the UK, and the US launch is very uncertain in view of the US ban on the DJI drone. But this is a completely different problem …
