Samsung announced last month’s Ecinos 2500 SOC, used in the Samsung Galaxy Z Philip 7, which was sold yesterday. The Korean brand has not yet revealed anything about the Ecinos 2600 SOC, but thanks to the Gack Bench, we know what to expect from the next Samsung flagship chip.
The Samsung Engineering Device with Model Affairs S5e9965 has been spotted on the Gack Bench with the Eknos 2600 chip. It is a Dika -Core CPU, which is similar to Acinos 2500, but with a different arrangement. We are looking at 1+3+6 configuration, with the same prime core at 3.55 GHz, three performance cores are running at 2.96 GHz, and the six performance cores work on a watch frequencies of 2.46 GHz. The graphics department has been handled by 960 GPUs of Samsung.
The engineering device, which is powered by Ekinos 2600 SOC, contained 12GB of Android 16 with Android 16.
In comparison, our Gack Bench Test scored 2,099 and 7,433 points in the Ecinos 2500 -run Samsung Galaxy Z Philip 7, but the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite -powered Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 scored 2,910 and 9,152 points.

Before going to any conclusion, you need to remember that: 1) Ecinos 2600 SOC is still in development and its CPU clock is unlikely to be finalized. 2) The final version of the chip that will be used in retail devices will have better performance.

Bloomberg reports that the Samsung Galaxy is examining the use of both Qualcomm and its own chips for the S26 series, which is expected to come next January. We can see that Samsung saw the Galaxy S26 going with Ecinos 2600, while the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Age will be used. It is said to change the Plus model in the latter lineup.
