- Google contacts are now working on a new “calling cards” feature for some versions.
- Earlier analysis suggests that this may be very similar to iOS contact posters.
- New text strings and a promo image add more support to this interpretation.
What do they say about the mobile operating system? Copy good platform, but steal a great platform? Android and iOS have certainly traded ideas more than a few times over the years, and just last month we were considering that Apple’s notes felt like Android’s latest effort to raise notes. The Google Contacts app is working on contact posters with its version iOS, with a stylized rendering of your name by teasing “calling cards” customs images and announcing callers. What we like at this location is to really show you the calling card because they look in contacts, but the app is not yet ready to get us yet. But when we have to continue digging there to make any progress, we will probably have the next thing, for example it seems that it seems that we can plan to use contacts when it eventually introduces the device to consumers.

It increases in the sense that the calling card will use a full screen image of your contact. Sadly, it does nothing to increase our understanding of how these cards will produce the text, leaves us to see posters contacting the iOS and keeps thinking that we can really get a copy of 1: 1.
Hopefully we will soon have the opportunity to see it, and eventually we can put the last part of these speculations to rest.
