- BMW says it has no plans to connect the carplay ultra in future cars
- Manufacturers are rapidly referring to Infounds
- Austin Martin is currently the only brand to offer Apple Tech
The Apple Carplay launched a lot of Dhoom Dham in late May, with the amazing Austin Martin DBX 707 adorned with several screens.
But just weeks after its unveiling in the world, numerous big names automotive manufacturers – who were once ready to work with Tech – started backed out. This time, this is BMW.
Recently, a Renault employee was also told by the Financial Times about “not attacking our system” when quiz was about the future partnership with Tech Dev.

Now, a BMWAG spokesman said that the company currently has no plans to connect Apple Carpel Ultra, according to a post by an independent BMW blog shown by 9TO5MAC.
Instead, the German Automotive Power House is supporting its restoration of the popular IDrive system, which was first debuted in the CES later last year.
System-which will be seen on the coming New Class IX-it includes new hippoc controls and a complete width display that extends throughout the windscreen width. The handing over this new and modern digital real estate to Apple seems to be anti -intuitive.
As a result, the German automaker will still support the traditional carplay and Android Auto, but its use will be limited to the basic infotainment screen.
Analysis: Carplay Ultra is a step far away

My initial experience with Apple Corplay Ultra proved that the system has set many disturbing things created by the use of traditional carplay.
Basically, the ability to adjust the main settings of the car without leaving the carplay environment or enjoying some dub or satellite radio is an honor.
However, when Austin is activated by the beautiful all four, the system felt overly unpleasant and completely digital, very Apple Wi -Cockpit lost some of its unique attention.
This is a tremendous problem facing many manufacturers, because most of them feel that allowing Apple to overcome the entire experience of infection does not only prevent the brand’s distinction, but also sees Apple’s potentially handling of valuable data.
Instead, Porsche is the only manufacturer of which I can think that it has developed half a house with Apple’s automotive developer tool cut.
Plug the iPhone into a new mechanin, technique or Panamirra and you will be able to adjust the air and the fadal temperature with car settings, without leaving the carplay environment or abandoning the unique digital driver’s display.
To me, it seems as if Apple needs to get this avenue and improve the standard carplay experience, which should be with iOS 26.
Otherwise, future cars are at risk of feeling uniformly on both outside and interior.
