Tl; Dr: Our mobile app began to face problems earlier this month. The Big Android system was due to the beta version of the webView component. This has been set in the latest version released by Google from Google at the Play Store, V139.0.7258.51. You can download it from this link.
The first information on the issues came after Android’s July 2025 updated the Google System. A limited number of users, our mobile app, did not show content in the portrait format (though it worked in the familiarity of landscape). We reported the bug to Google, which immediately released a fixed version of the component. If you face this problem, you can manually download the latest beta version from the link above.

If you do not see the “update” button, try to install the first component then reinstall it – it should be installed the latest version. If you only install the beta version, you will be running a temporary stable version instead. This will not stop the future beta version from being installed automatically, though, you will still enroll in the son channel.
You want to opt out of the Beta Channel for the Web Web View component to avoid running in such a future insect – especially if you accidentally signed up for it (as we understand some of our users). Using this link can be optic -out (you should see the screen as above).
Note: The users who were not operating the webView were not affected and they did not need to do anything. Also, it does not belong to the beta version of the GSMarena app.
