Snapchat can now tell your friends if you have returned home safely and with a voice without sending a message. The app has launched a new feature called Home Safe, which sends a timely warning to your choice of contacts. You can only send the warnings to the people with whom you already share your location, and since it expires in default, you have to activate Snap Maps for all your friends or specific friends. Your friends will only be informed once, and then it will close.
Home Safe looks especially useful if you and your friends usually check each other after meeting, if you want to tell your parents that you will come back home after you leave or if you are a woman who has asked a friend to make sure you will be saved after the first date. To turn on the feature, tap your butt Moussi on a snapmap and then “My Home” to set your home location. Then, whenever you want to send a notification to someone, just open your conversation with it, tap on the map icon and then tap the “Home Safe” button.
The app has just been shared for a while, but has developed a safety feature in the past years. It includes direct location sharing, which allows you to share your exact hideouts in 2022. And last year, he introduced new location tracking capabilities in his family center, which allows parents to get information on school or home.
