- Android’s hand -off -functioning format, which shows new options for cross -device file sharing.
- We also saw a glimpse of app sharing, which could allow you to access apps installed on other devices.
- Toggles and buttons are not active, which shows Google still edit how these features work.
Apple’s ecosystem is one of its most forced sales locations, and Google is working on its adaptation in Android and is looking at the same success. Some features, such as automatic hotspot connection and call transfer between logging devices in the same Google account, are already present as part of the cross -device services of Android. It can soon improve with the enhancement of file and app sharing functionality in the devices through Android’s under -development hand of features.

An AP tear down helps predict the features that can reach a service -based code on the future. However, it is possible that such predators do not make it public release.
We recently found new updates for Android’s hand -off (yes, its name is named after Apple’s name functionality), which enables a new toggle for cross -device file sharing. We were able to create an interface for file sharing in Google Play Services version 25.29.31 beta.
File and media sharing notification is sitting in the functionality of sharing that we have seen earlier. The feature is not active, but we can see detailed under the title, which clearly states that on turning it can allow you to access files in the devices.
In addition, we have also faced the possibility of running apps on several devices. It is recommended on the attached devices through the drop -down menu space in the upper part of the app. Taping on the dropdown menu currently shows only one “local device”, but we suspect it can display a complete list of devices and possibly allow you to run apps from other connected devices.
Specifically, we discovered the following strings (among others) in our previous search:
Code
Copy notifications to Text Continuous Tasks and Axis Apps, Media, and your devices
Of the suggested features, we have already seen half -baked UIS for cross -device app launching, media sharing, and notification synchronization, though we are not sure how each of them will look practically. We still have to observe the mechanism behind a device from one device to another, which will be the most important aspect of hand -off functionality.
Despite these optimistic visuals, we cannot guarantee a timeline to release Android’s hand -off. However, we will continue to post you on any progress related to it.
