Google is now improving the functionality of its VEO 3 video generation model, adding video generation from the image. On Thursday, Mountain View -based Tech Dev announced that eligible users will now be able to add photos as input and produce videos based on using VEO 3. Specifically, this feature is currently available through Gemini’s web interface, and mobile apps do not support it. Currently, Google is releasing this potential in selected countries, but has not explained the names of these countries.
VEO 3 can now produce videos using Image Input
In a blog post, Tech Dev announced that VEO 3 will now support photo inputs when producing videos. This means that users can create artificial intelligence (AI) videos of any reference image of their choice. There is some confusion about its availability, because Google has just said that it is being released in “selected countries”. Members of the gadget 360 staff were able to confirm that this feature has not yet been found in India.
Video Generation feature from VEO 3 image is not available in India
People who access this new feature can go to the Gemini website, select the “video” chip located below the text box, and the option to add photos should now be seen. Here, users can add reference icons and immediately write how they like to mobilize the video, and the VEO 3 model takes care of the rest.
Google also shared a demo video highlighting the complexity limit, which could increase their indications. In the short video, VEO 3 took a photo of the cardboard box and produced videos of the cooking hamster inside it, a man was jumping inside the box, and a lift from it.
In particular, all videos produced using Gemini will include a visible watermark that can be highlighted that these are not real videos, as well as a hidden watermark using Google’s artificial technology. The latter cannot be cut, modified, or removed from any other source. These are just shown in special software designed to read the watermark.
VEO 3 is currently available globally in 154 countries and regions. The video generation model can be accessed through Google AI Pro and Google AI ultra subscriptions. Ultra subscription, which costs $ 200 a month (about Rs 17,200), is only available in the United States.
