Through the Australian telescope compact array (ATCA), scientists observed a large -scale radio of the Champalian Cloud Complex. It is a star making region that is 620 light years in the southern sky. The study was published on June 19, 2025 in the Archive Pre -Print server. As a result of this research, five young stars were discovered. It provides a new insight into the CCC region in the birth process. It consists of three big dark clouds, Chai, Chai II, and Chai III, known for their youngest population. It plays an important role in understanding the early stubborn evolution.
Warking activity in the Champalian Cloud Complex
According to an ATCA study, it has been found that Chai I have about 250 pre -maintenance (PMS) stars, and Chai II has less than 100. Chai I and CH II are about 2 million years old, while it is believed that the Chai III is in the first phase, in which the stars are still about to begin. In a recent campaign led by Ernesto Garcia Valensia, the ATCA is to find new young stars in the region with the help of high resolution radio data.
Types of found stars and their emission properties
All three of the five detective stars were classified as low -mass Tori stars, known as relatively alleved manufactured young wireless items. Another was identified as a Protostiler Object, while the fifth Herbig AE/Be Star. Scientists have observed that in most cases, non -thermal radio is emitted, except for the proteostar, which is found in thermal radiation emissions.
With the help of the Australian Long Baseline Armine (LBA), further observation and analysis made it clear that a source, J11061540−77721567, could be a tough binary star system. The binary consists of an estimated mass of a solar gathering, which is a semi -Major axis of 12 AU, which has a period of about 40 years.
Temporary detection and overall detection rate
In addition, this team of scientists temporarily identified five more young stars who need further confirmation. Overall, the detection rate in the surveyed region is found somewhere between 2.5 % and 5 %, which is slightly lower than other famous star makers.
