Thanks to issuing a stable Android 16 to Google for its pixel lineup before its routine, numerous OEMs are expected to send their Android 16 updates before scheduled this year. Samsung will possibly begin an UI 8 based on Android 16 with the next Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Philip 7. Nothing has confirmed that nothing more OS will be released.
While in Tomorrow’s phone 3 launch eventNothing announced that although its new flagship would do nothing with OS 3.5 based on Android 15, OS 4.0, based on Android 16, would not “arrive in Q3 2025.” We suspect that the platform upgrade will reach the first new launched phone 3 before going to old models.
Nothing phone 2 and new models will receive Android 16 updates, but the original phone 1 is not eligible for releases. At this time, nothing has shared the correct release timeline for these devices. We expect the company to share all the details near rollout.
We have very little information about the features and improvements that may be nothing with OS 4.0, but it is safe to understand that it will include all the significant changes in Android 16. There is probably nothing that beta construction will not test with selected users before a steady release, which has made us new to the update.
