I am really in finance and have been investing for a long time. From stocks and crypto to swing trading and holding, I have done all this. Over the years, I have also tried all kinds of investment apps in hopes of getting appropriate data and setting up a working system for me. Some were good, not so much for others. In this post, I will highlight good people and talk about why you should consider their use.
Before diving to this list, I want to make it clear that these are investing data apps. This means that they provide timely news, charts and other important data that you need to make investment informed decisions. For example, I will not discuss investment or commercial apps used to buy and sell stocks.
If you are looking for a platform to put the trade into practice, my first recommendation is to open the Interactive Brokers account. It is one of the most trusted brokers there and offers some different trading platforms that will be in accordance with both initial and experienced investors. However, there are many famous alternatives available, including Webbin, Robin Hood, and trading 212.

Coyfen
Edgar Survints / Android Authority
This, in my opinion, is the best app in this list, and what is funny is that it is not too popular. I have been using it for years and I don’t intend to change any alternative.
About the Cofin data. Not only can I see how the markets are doing at a certain time, but I can also check the financial records of a company in detail. This includes all financial proportions as well as income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. It also provides the analyst’s opinion and analysis as to where the stock price can be held in the next 12 months.
I need data, and that’s why I love Kovin. There are other platforms that offer similar services, some of which are on the list, but Kovin stands due to its use and an easy yet still visible design. It is free to use, but there are limits that you can remove with subscription, which is normal with this type of apps.
Yahoo Finance

When it comes to investment, one of the most famous apps, Yahoo Finance is a service I have used for a long time. Just like the Quepen, I am also able to test all kinds of financial data, which helps me make the final investment decision. However, this is the app’s news section that IT really features. Although most investment apps have a news section, Yahoo Finance has a lot of front and center.
The market runs with news.
News is an important part of investment, especially for people who like to trade – buy and sell in a short time. The market runs with news, so it is easy to use a service like Yahoo Finance.
It also contains all the financial figures needed by most people, though the Cofin’s offer is slightly stronger. The structure of the statistics has also been improved on the Quaffen, though Yahoo Finance is still a great source of overall. It’s free to use, but a paid plan is available to you get advertising -free experience, additional research reports and more.
Trading View

While Quepen has the strongest basic data and is based on Yahoo Finance News, which is the charting exports of commercial view. So, if you are in technical analysis, it is the app to use. You have a lot of indicators that will choose from which will help you decide which company to invest and when.
The second major advantage of the trading view is its community, which allows users to discuss and share ideas. Although you should always invest on the basis of your personal goals and based on your system, listening to other people about their strategy can sometimes create one or two ideas.
On the day’s trade, I was slightly pressed with technical analysis, so I used the trading view because charting tools are better than the Kovin and Yahoo finance offer. I don’t use it anymore because I prefer to buy and hold and do not trade so actively, but if this is your thing, the trading view is for you.
Investment dot com

This app has everything you need, though it is not good in a particular area. It covers everything from stocks and cryptos to ETF and bonds, which offers more than 70 exchanges data.
Even an easy alert feature is available.
I used it a little and I was able to make a watchlist of my favorite companies, mostly to get the basic data I need, and also top the latest news. There are also charts available, as there are various reviews to help decide the final investment. There is even an easy alert feature, which allows the app to tell me that, for example, the price of the stock falls to a certain level.
The app is free, but as the rest of the entries on this list, there is a premium plan available that gets rid of ads and offers additional functionality. Whether it is worth it, it depends on the goals and needs of each person.
Market watch
Matja Rittic / Android Authority
Market Watch is an app that provides breaking news and analysis of financial markets. It is part of the news corporation, which also owns the Wall Street Journal and Baron. I really like his articles and analysis, and has been a reader for a long time. I especially like how quickly they report about the latest income of specific companies, as such data represents a great opportunity to buy or buy short stocks.
In addition to the news, the Market Watch provides the option of making financial data, charting, and watch list. However, the data that provides the data and the overall experience is not as good as you get with something like Cofin, at least for me personally.
The market watch is free, but there are limits of how many articles can be read in a specific timeframe. To have full access, a premium subscription requires.
These are my five favorite investment apps, though I have used many other services in the past years. These include Finos, Ticker, and Even Google Finance. However, none of them have a dedicated Android app, so I used them only on my computer.
Do you have any favorite investment apps I didn’t mention? Tell me in the comments.
