Apple Watch Ultra 2 has been one of the best smart watches for long runners, but it still does not match the best Garman watches for sports features.
However, the distance between the smart and sports watches is short of a year, and Garman Venu X1 is a clear attempt to tap the Apple Watch audience.
It has a 2 -inch wide moving display and a thin design I have experienced compared to any garamic. On the wrist, it feels more like a smart watch than a sports watch, though it packs in the highest features of Garman’s sports tracking.

Garman Venu X1 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 directly compare LI, I wore both of them for a 5 -mile race in Essex Rural areas in the UK, reviewing their design, accuracy and battery life.
I finished the race at 26:01, and both watches were quite a lot of their accuracy. However, there were certainly differences I saw in his design and how he performed on the day of the race.

The thin pin of Garman Venu X1 makes it feel very light and unhealthy on the wrist, despite the fact that it has such a large screen.
He felt light from Apple Watch Ultra 2 during the race, and how thin it is, Veno X1 does not feel at all thanks to the titanium caseback and sapphire screen.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a very good watch. The titanium case, the way its screen is surrounded, can make it more durable than Vano X1, but the carman is light and feels better to run.
The accuracy of GPS
At the beginning of the race, I lost the Apple Watch Ultra -2 button to start the recording, but by only a few steps when I went to it, and both watches prepared the right tracks on two lap course on the roads in the countryside.
I track my runs in a kilometer, and five miles 8.05 km, so both watches were very close to the right distance-the RSEX County had a 5-mile championship, as well as a licensed, correctly scale course.
One of the remarkable things about GPS tracking on both watches is that Apple Watch Ultra offers 2 double band GPS tracking, a more accurate way that is not available on Venu X1, but Is Available on other Garman models.
So far, tracking of all satellite systems on Vano X1 has been very accurate. On this course, on the roads covering trees in the countryside, it was fine, but in the events of the city where you are walking around long buildings, it would be beneficial to track the double band on apples.
The accuracy of the heart rate

During the race to test the accuracy of the heart rate of the two watches, I also wore a garaman HRM600 chest strap in my pocket, which was connected to a Garman Fourron 970 in my pocket.
In my experience, chest straps are more reliable options to track heart rate than wrist sensors, so I see if they are matching.

For most parts, both watches perform very well for heart rate accuracy, which resembles the bat for a chest strap for almost the entire race.
At the beginning of the race, it took a while to read Veno X1 to the right heart rate, and Apple Watch Ultra 2 did not read the heartbeat for the first or two minutes, but once both closed at my heart rate, they were right for the rest of the event.
Battery life
The battery life of Apple Watch Ultra 2 has been very permanent for me during years of testing, the clock always lasts for two days, even when I run the marathon with the clock.
The carman usually takes it out of comfort, but it is not that Garman Venu X1, which continues with the screen in just one day. Garman says it should continue for two days, but I am losing 10 % of the battery per hour during the runs, including a 5 -mile race, which is more than 14 hours expected to be considered 14 hours of GPS battery life.
This is with the sparkle of the screen that is set at the bottom, (it’s still more bright). Unless you intend to have a Vano X1 screen on Rice to Week, Apple Watch Ultra 2 is the winner in battery life.
After Garman launches Launching to improve the battery life, he began a refreshment for his predecessor 570 and the Fortoner 970 watches, so it may also be with Veneo X1, but now, its large, bright screen is definitely having a great impact on the battery life.
Word
If you are a person who prefers a square watch and prefers a bright display during long battery life, these two watches fit on the bill, and they take backups of good looks that are accurate and detailed.
The lightweight of Garman Venu X1 makes it more comfortable on my thin wrist, and I prefer Apple to Garman’s sports tracking and training analysis, as it has more detail and customization available.
However, during the race, it was a washing that performed well, as well as a distance, with both watches packing and heart rate statistics. You can definitely rely on both of the race day.
