Trump’s organization jumped into a smartphone business on June 16, announcing a $ 499 gold -powered phone and mobile phone plan, in which the Trump mobile website announced that the device would be “designed and built in the United States.” It is a claim that many experts were skeptical. Now, just after a week, the site has left the phrase.

Instead, new words on Trump mobile have cited “American hands” and “American values”, but claiming on a phone called T1 will be made in the United States.

Without providing any additional details on Trump.com, there is no change in the original statement.

But in view of the facts of the supply chain, it was clear from the beginning that at least some components on the phone would have to come from another country, such as China. The Trump administration has focused on getting more manufacturing in the United States, including pressure to make Apple make iPhones here.

A Trump Mobile Representative did not respond to a comment.

A banner at Trump Mobile.com said that “made in the United States” has now ended. But other statements declare that the phone is “proudly American” and at the same time “designed with US values in mind.” One heading is written, “American-proud design.”

The site says “T1SM phone is not just powerful – it has been brought to the United States here in the United States.” The site says, “says the site.” It has not been specified what it specifically means in relation to the preparation of the phone.

Expert: We fully make the phone ‘completely impossible’

Vice President of International Data Corporation Francisco Jeronimo told CNBC last week that the phone could not be submitted or fully manufactured in the United States. “It’s completely impossible,” he said.

Eric Trump, who is a president’s son, said at the time that the company would make a phone call in the United States, but not yet.

“Finally, all phones can be built in the United States,” he said in an interview with wired magazine.

Trump will serve through mobile AT&T, Verizon and T -Mobile.

Meanwhile, the Trump phone has placed another phone, an independent phone maker, a Liberty Phone manufactured by Portism. Paverism founder Toddwever told CNET last week that the Libertyphone is sold under the label of “Med in USA Electronics” under the rules of the Federal Trade Commission. Weaver doubts that Trump T -One phone will meet the same standard.

President Trump has said that he will impose 25 % tariffs on all smartphones made in the United States, which looks like a proposed phone from his own family.

    Some details are vague

CNET’s senior editor Mike Sorino noted that the site for the Trump phone is running directly with numerous errors and mistakes.

There is no list of any processor. The storage and memory are mixed in the spirits, in which Ram is listed as 12GB storage and memory as 256GB of internal storage. The site mentions the “Punch Hole Amold Display”, which does not contain Surino’s notes, using this term to refer to the space for the front feeing camera. There are two separate sizes for the phone display. The site refers to the “5,000 MAh Long Life Camera”, but it seems that it means battery. The battery camera confusion has been corrected.

Meanwhile, a press release for the phone states that it will be released in August, but the website actually said in September. Now, it has also been converted into “later this year”.

The Gulf of Mexico label on the map

The Trump mobile site launched a map with a map showing its coverage area, but the map was drawn when people felt online that the map used the Gulf of Mexico for water, which the Trump Gulf calls the United States.

Reuters reviewed the website code and said that it seems that the site is using T -Mobile network data for the coverage map, and that the company uses the name of the Gulf Mexico.

The Trump mobile phone plan costs $ 47.45 a month, as Donald Trump was the 45th and 47th president.

    Trump Mobile

Trump announced the change in the Gulf of America on the day of his opening in January. It also changed the name of Alaska Mountain Denali into Mount McCainy. The Associated Press has said it will not use the Gulf US name for the water body.

    Phone with a television plan?

The press release promises that the phone plan comes with “television services, including virtual medical care, mental health support, and easy setting for prescription medicines”.

Trump Mobile spokesman, Don Hendrickson, confirmed the launch that television services have been included in the project. As the New York Times has noted, it is unclear whether the 47-month phone plan can afford to cover remote doctor’s visits and medicines.

The Trump Mobile Site says that the television program will need users to sign up with a third -party provider, a degree.

    The trend of celebrity phone

The presence of the president’s high profile and social media could have greatly promoted Trump’s new mobile offerings, but a wireless executive said he was unlikely to create a major obstacle to other wireless carriers.

“The US wireless market is more than $ 300 billion a year, and this is not a zero game,” said Ahmed Khattak, US Mobile CEO. Newcomers, like Trump mobile or smart lace, usually use large 3 infrastructure as mobile virtual network operators. ” Khattak’s company has served one million wireless users and CNET has been classified in wireless phone projects.

He says, “They can produce branding or loyalty of the audience, but this cannot mainly change the benefits of the economics or scale of large MVNOs or large three carriers.”

Khattak is not convinced that Trump’s new effort is a conflict of interests or offers a regular dispute because the president has the authority to appoint FCC commissioners.

“The FCC is an independent agency,” he says. “The commissioners are appointed by the president, but it is confirmed by the Senate, and the FCCMVNO is not included in business contracts or trade launches.”

US mobile CEOs also do not believe that the new company represents a new wave of wireless verification of celebrity.

“If anything, he is behind us,” he says. “Mint Mobile is often seen as the story of Ryan Reynolds, but the fact is that its main company, Ultra Mobile, was the fastest growing private company in the United States long before its involvement.”

Khattak added: “Most celebrity MVNOs will not be able to run because wireless is a practical business with a hard margin. This is not the next celebrity trend of alcohol or podcast.”

Trump from phone to quick utensils, snow glows

The Trump Organization is a holding company for the president’s business interests. According to Reuters, the president has reported 600 million worth of revenue from various deals and projects, including crypto coins, his administration’s business sector has increased.

Recently, the news site Simpur reports that the kitchen appliance company will offer “45/47 collaboration”, which will be marked with the slogan of these numbers and the president’s “Make America once again”. Simpur also reported that tableware and China company Lenox have proposed a line of Trump -related products, including snoo globes and dinnerware along the president’s face.
