The Meta WhatsApp is adding a new message summary feature in which AI is used to summarize non -read messages in some tablet points. This feature is built on a private processing technique meta, which was announced in Lamakone in April, and claims that AI has not been allowed to work with the content in the WhatsApp.
Once this feature appears in your app, you just tap on the screen banner on your non -read messages, with which “summarize privately” to receive a summary from Meta AI. The message summary feature is coming to the United States, chatting in the United States in English, but Meta says it “hopes to bring it to other languages and countries later this year.”
If you haven’t tested your phone or you are in a lot of chats, the company develops the company’s summary as an easy way to make you miss. AI is not even foolproof in such easy tasks in any way – the problem with Apple’s notification summary was just a few months ago – but this device can especially appeal to people in large and active chats.
The original novelty of the summary is that the Meta WhatsApp claims to be deployed without removing the private nature of chats. The company has a blog post and White Paper digs the details of how private processing works, but on the first embarrassment it looks like a private cloud compute, Apple uses how to demand more AI features without exposing its customers’ data. From the end to the end, using a secure cloud environment, WhatsApp messages can be accessed without any data when it is, or after reality.
The important thing is that this is still optional. First you will not be provided with a summary without asking, and the feature is disabled as default. Meta also says that you can exclude chats from sharing with the company’s AI through an advanced chat privacy feature.
