- Samsung allegedly can fold a variety of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Qualcomm.
- Although the normal chip will be made with a 3NM TSMC process, Samsung can be a 2NM chip.
- This 2NM Snapdragon can start with 8 Elite 2 Galaxy S26.
There is no only component of it that is more effective about how the smartphone is more collected than the selection of its system On-Chip (SOC). And when a phone is much higher than how fast this number can increase, the decision to decide which affects everything from the SOC screens and cameras that can help the handset, how the phone will be affected by force. Right now, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips dominates the popular Android hardware, with many of the best phones of this year given the Snapdragon 8 Elite. But if we are hearing that this latest report has proved to be true, the incoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SOC industry can shake in some amazing ways.
Qualcomm designs its Snapdragon chips, but when it comes to their preparation, it has historically relied on fabricated partners like TSMC and Samsung. But in recent years, most of its flagship chips have been specially developed by TSMC. This includes Snapdragon 8 Elite, made on the 3NM process of TSMC.
We have been talking about the next step recently, and when we can expect the 2NM chips to be commercially viable. This includes rumors that Google may pre -start, with a 2NM tanker G6 chip for Pixel 11 manufactured by TSMC. While we did not hear about the first plans for the 2nm chip to compete, it is now changing.

According to South Korea Business PostQualcomm Snapdragon can make a little strange plan for 8 Elite 2. As we have seen with the S25 series and its special Snapdragon 8 Elite, for the Galaxy chips, Samsung can again find a special edition of Qualcomm’s next chip with some special upgrades. But this time, Qualcomm can actually tap Samsung to fabricate the chip.
The reason for this move is especially interesting is that Samsung has a 2 NM process associated with its own, and industry sources are expected to be developed using this version of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (internally called “Canopali S”). And if they really end up in the Galaxy S26 Family, it can be Samsung instead of Google, which first puts the next gene chips in your hands.
Production for Samsung’s 2NM process has already increased from 30 to 40 %, and it is just a bit down where companies are hitting in profit, if this number continues to move in the right direction, Samsung can be in good condition in just a few months. The company is also looking at 1.4NM chips, but has delayed these projects to further improve its 2NM workflow.
Finally, which company 2nm is before with a steep phone, it will not come more than boasting rights, and regardless of who wins, the rest are coming in short order. But this makes us no less excited to think about this processor on a small atom scale.
