I am a former twenty -two, so I have spent a lot of time making coffee. I cut my teeth in a free artsal cafe (So Free and artistic, that it was one of the killings of many small businesses) and then it faced some long, difficult years in the Starbucks (during the lockdown) as a punishment.
You think it will stop me. But I can’t stop. I am as going to stop as an endless march of time. Now as a journalist, it is my mission to find the best espresso machines so that I can continue to drink too much coffee. 9 149 D Lungi Hate everything in the espresso machine in Stelosa: a sharp plastic tampering, a sharp construction of plastic, and plastic drip tray. I really thought I would hate this machine.
No, lying, i Desired To hate it, because it was very ugly. However, when I dug up my $ 900D Longi La Specialtya Opera for $ 149 D Longi Stelosa, I was quite surprised.
You can like
I tested the UK version of De Longi Stelosa. A reader recently said that the American model of Stelosa comes with him Dual walls with portfallors. In this case, I would recommend to get a third party’s single wall portfalls to get the results like me.
Can I introduce coffee rivals …
How’s Perfect Essepresso with de Longi Stelosa
Repeat after me: I will not use the pre -ground coffee … I will not use the pre -gland coffee … I will not use the pre -gland enough.
Now, I have said before and I will say it again. You have to do Task For good espresso at De Lung Stelosa. If you just get it out of the box and get to work, you think I lost my marble.
Aspresso is just as an art as it is science. And the perfect Aspareto needs two things: a good mill, and even better. I used Yuka Magnan Specialta (9 649) and Commandant C40M (~ 2 282) with D Lung Stelosa. If there is a budget concern, you may be able to catch the Baratza Incor ESP or 1 Zepresso J. Ultra-DO $ 199-. However, a good mill is non -negotiation.
The only reason for Stelosa to meet with the LA Specialtya opera is because of the magnificent grinders I used. If you buy pre -gland beans or have a blade grinder, you will Never Be able to get these results. Repeat after me: I will not use the pre -ground coffee … I will not use the pre -gland coffee … I will not use the pre -gland enough.
Well, great! This is the best espresso shot that I drawn on Stelosa, which uses articles, locally -roasted beans and comandant C44 Gerinder.

As I am sure you are still familiar, it is possible to get an espresso shot only because of a premium mill and special beans. With this extra effort, there is no need to spend on any espresso machine. You will need to search for the following species:
- Pressure at least 9 times
- Single -wall Portaflers
- Good quality shower screen
- PID (if you can spend 9 499 instead of 9 149 for Brewl Bambino Plus)
Although De Lunga Stelosa does not have PID (which is a temperature controller to prevent built -in built -in and weak espresso in the machine), it is literally 9 149. At this price, you can’t really ask for a lot. It is worth noting that other domestic barracks have successfully edited Stelosa with PID controllers, so not all ends.
Since De Lungi Stelosa has tested it has both pressure and single -wall portflers, I have been technically able to pull the perfect espresso. If you follow my advice, there is no reason why you will not be able to get it.
In terms of espresso brewing? I couldn’t believe my fate. Stelosa is $ 759 cheaper than my LA Specialsa Opera, but pulls very similar shots. It’s a Monument Savings
I have changed my view on cheap espresso machines

I will not lie to you, when I first picked up De Lungi Stelosa, I was physically upset. I thought There is no way in that the waste of this attractive plastic hink can never be good. But oh boy, did he prove me wrong? I have already talked about all these reasons that D Luung Stelosa proved to me in a different article, but I would go here briefly through them.
Good espresso machines need some weight for them. Even in compact machines the boilers enter their small size, so when I picked up the Stelosa immediately me. I was suspected. I suspected the ability to heat the water, let the espresso pull. But I was wrong.
Stelosa penetrates an impressive 9 -bar pressure system and steel boiler within its 8 -inch size. Sacrifice fall into all its plastic (ugly) construction, Flimsy group handle, and compassionate tampering. Although these are all fixed problems. The ability to make the hereditary espresso of the machine? The chart is good.

I would be the first to recognize that many budgets aspirosu machines are very objectionable. But de Longi is not Stelosa. With the additional work I discussed earlier, I managed to make $ 500-Missionable Esproso on $ 149 Stelosa. However, without effort, espresso will definitely take such a taste as it was made on an affordable machine.
Therefore, if the following is the following items in the cheap espresso machine: 9 bar pressure, single wall portfall baskets, even a shower screen with water distribution, and (maybe) a PID controller, then it does not stop performing anything like a premium model. Certainly with the right tools, coffee and twenty.
I will admit that de Longi Stelosa is not the right espresso machine for everyone
Although I was really impressed with Stelosa for price, I am not yet ready to give up my LA Specialtya Opera. (I’m really sorry to get the opera and really wanted a Brewl Bambino Plus, but this is another story.)
Stelosa requires a little more effort than other machines to steal the milk, as the steam rod can be a little too much. Take a look at the lyrics made with Stelosa.

It is 3/2 years after a twenty -one, keep in mind. My late art can still do some work (I’m still to master the tulip), but I think that more inexperienced Barista will need a little more time to adjust to the maximum stelosa rod in Stelosa. In the upper part of it, if you are Baresta that just wants coffee and don’t want to try this coffee enough time and mental effort?
Then I think stilosa may not be for you. In this case I will recommend something like de Longi Revilia, but it will cost you – 4 1,499.
What did I learn when I turned my premium machine into cheap?
I already knew it, but changing my LA Specialtya Opera for Stelosa confirmed my belief that good coffee needed one thing: a good Barista who knows what they are doing.
Yes, you can spend $$$$ (more like $$$$$$$$$$ 17) on the Bahaka Late ($ 2,999) or La Marzu Lina Money (, 6,300), but if you don’t know? Your coffee taste will not be very good. I recommend learning about coffee – what kind of beans do you like, why you need a great mill before paying a month’s wages on a machine.
Instead, I will recommend getting a steelosa and learning on an affordable machine. Then, once you get skill? In any way, dig into a primitive machine – or just keep your money and continue killing on Stelosa.
