D Lungi Dedica Pair: Two -minute Review
De Longhi Dedica Pair is a fine entry level espresso machine that looks great despite its slight price and performs very well.
Its predecessor, De Longi is the same as Dedica style, but with some significant improvements – including a wider drip tray that can adjust the two espresso cups. The steam rod has been upgraded with a cold touch handle and better grip LA with a nord control dial, and the machine is available in the selection of four colors (including three gelatio -infected pistol sheds).
Dedica pair’s accessories, such as color -integrated portflutter handle, feel strong. It comes with two pressure portfall baskets, a coffee scoop, a pin tool, a discicular pack, a tampering, and a stainless steel milk pitcher. The water tank is easily accessible to the back, with a hinged lid to keep the water fresh, and it can be applied to an optional filter of water.
The machine is operated through a single shot, double shot, cold brown, and steam on top by crescent buttons. The color lights on these buttons indicate the status of the machine, which requires manual references for full understanding.
Although the heat takes a while, the Dedica pair provides a good shot with a permanent grinding. Due to the absence of the three -way solinide valve, there is some slight drop after the pump is finished.
The cold extraction mode of the dedica pair, while the preparation of hot espresso, is slower than the traditional of cold running overnight and produces a complete, melodious taste. This cold wine is versatile, to drink straight, with milk and ice, or in mixed drinks and cocktails.
My only real complaint is that the lights system may be confused to identify the current status of the machine and any anxiety (such as air in the system, or system), and when you are getting a handle on things, you will find yourself regularly referring to the manual. In addition, though, it is an easy machine to suggest and is worth the entire five stars.

De Longi Dedica duo launched a list of 9299.95 / £ 279.99 in August 2025. At the time of writing (September 2025), it is not yet available in Australia, but hopefully it will change soon.
At this price, it is one of the cheaper espresso machines tested in the past year. The Casabroz 5418 Pro is in the same entry level bracket, which is the list of 99 299.99 (about 2220 / AU $ 460), but it is clear that the Casabroz has cut enough corners, and it cannot compete with the Dedica pair for construction quality and performance.

De Lungi Dedica Pair is a compact, smart -visible espresso machine. At first glance, it is stronger than its predecessor, Dedica Style. This is exactly the same size, but you will see a lot of improvement and improvement when closely inspected.
Most importantly, the dadika pair comes in the latest range of colors, which is accompanied by white, pink and green soft colors with classic stainless steel, about which De Longhi says it was affected by various flavors of gelato. In 2025, candy -colored devices have become increasingly popular, and they look good with satin finish instead of vaccine.

For me, one of the most notable updates is a drip tray, which is now widely wide, which makes it easier to fit two espresso cups under the portpress while pulling a double shot. If you have a particularly tall cup, you can remove the stainless steel grill and place the cup directly on the bottom of the tray. A good touch, and one that helps to facilitate cleaning.
The steam stick now has a cool touch handle, which is a good upgrade, and its control plays a rotating structure in the dial games that looks good and provides extra grip. The stick does not turn, but it is an ax, and its angle makes it easy to achieve a good movement of whirlpool when texting your milk.

All the accessories of the Dedica pair feel strong in the hand, unlike some other entrance -level coffee machines I have recently tested (I am looking at you, Casabrovis). The portfall handle is satisfactory weighted, which is a texture ending with a steam rod’s dial, and is colorful to meet the machine’s body.
You have two pressure portfall baskets (one for one shots and one for a doubles), a coffee scoop, a tool to clean the steam rod, if it is blocked, a packet of declaring, a weight tampering that makes it easier to put enough pressure on your ground, and a steel of milk.
The machine water tank slips on the back, and the lid is attached to a strong feeling to keep the water fresh. It can also be applied to an optional water filter, but it needs to be purchased separately. The tank is easily out and slot back to the place. To do this, you will need to remove the machine from the wall, but it is so small and light, it should not be presented.
The Dedica pair has the right hand side of the power switch, and running on the top using a set of Sacaritis buttons: single shot, double shot, cold wine and steam. The combination of these buttons provides access to, or suppressing and holding, and provides access to some menus, and color lights give you information about the current status of the machine, so it is useful to keep the manual in hand for reference. For example, only the solid white light on the Steam button means that the system may have happened that needs clearing.

The Dedica pair is an excellent entry level espresso machine, which provides the pressure necessary to permanently produce good coffee. The Casabroz 5418 Pro that I reviewed a few weeks ago was so variable, he raised the question to me whether I really know how to make KSE Espresso. The Dedica duo has restored my confidence in my own abilities. It takes a while to warm up, but once it happens, and the top espresso buttons the tops are lit, you may be sure you will find a good shot. I am using enough grinding enough for my coffee, and the results are flawless.
There is no theradic solinide here, so you can expect a bit of dripping after the pump is finished, but this is certainly not the end of the world.
The Dedica pair star feature is cold extraction, and it works very well. While I have tested some other espresso machines recently you prepare a cup of ice and then throw a hot espresso shot, produce “cool” drinks, the pair’s cold brow mode ignores the thermobo block heater and uses direct environmental temperature water from the tank.
It takes more time than hot espresso (measured in minutes instead of seconds), but it is much faster than producing a cold -moving coffee in the traditional way (affecting the ground in the refrigerator overnight), yet the result of the flavoring profile is very similar. The taste is full and round, but more than the same is more hot than hot. Whether you drink it straight, add milk and ice, or use it in mixed drinks and cocktails, it is very tasty.

It is worth noting that the Dedica pair is not a silent machine. Unlike some modern machines of kitchen aid or jura choice, the pair has no place in its compact chassis of the voice -finishing material, so you will be able to listen to its pump while working in full quantity. Pumping water doesn’t take long time, though; But if you are sensitive to the noise then it’s a matter of being aware.
To me, the only loss of Dedica pair is the lights system that color and/or blink the color and/or eye to indicate your machine status or any problem. They are not always described themselves, and you will see yourself referring to the manual regularly until you learn the meaning of all of them. It may be better that it would be better to have a small queue of the status status lights of the general issues in the interest of the explanation.

How did I experience de Lungi Dedica Pair
I used the de -Longi Dedica pair for three weeks instead of my usual coffee machine, and prepared coffee using fresh Brazilians and Colombian Arabic beans, freshly grounded using the Sage Dose Control Pro Grinder. I used the machine tampering with the machine to tease coffee. I experienced a steam stick with cold, full -fat milk and milk milk.
Before and after drinking, I flush the machine with warm water to make sure it was clean, and cleaned the steam stick and after making every drink, cleaned it with a damp cloth.
