- Potential code names for Google’s Pixel 12 series are just leaked: gallgo, Saskoch, Silver Back, and Capochan.
- These premiere names will follow the names of the bear of Pixel 11 and the names of the horses of Pixel 10.
- Expect a similar four device lineup for Google’s 2027 launch, including foldable.
In just a couple of months, we look forward to completing Google’s Pixel 10 lineup. We have already seen many good reasons to be excited about the beginning of this year, but even with these new models, the horizon has increased, we are already thinking about what’s ahead. Beyond Pixel 10 phones, we have begun collecting some pieces for Google’s Pixel 11 projects, and today we move our eyes even more, as we get an extra taste of some pixel 12 news.
Google is probably not going to rewrite its pixel branding at any time, so when the Pixel 12 will almost certainly reach Pixel 12, every year we have to know Google’s new smartphones from the second set of names. These are the internal coden names through which Google refers to them during development and later support – you may be most familiar with seeing them linked to pixel firmware updates. With 10 codes of its pixel, Google chose the names of the generation of different horses, and we have discovered that next year’s Pixel will use 11 bear codes names: Cabes, Garzali, Kodiac, and even yogi.
For a Pixel 12 family, apparently we are moving towards the prime (plus whatever the bug fit is counted), at least according to the mystical leak on the telegram (via via 9TO5 Google) Specifically, we are seeing:
- Google Pixel 12 “Galago”
- Google Pixel 12 Pro “Sascochch”
- Google Pixel 12 Pro XL “Silver Back”
- Google Pixel 12 Pro Fold “Capochan”
It seems that Google’s same four device line -up plans will also be confirmed, which was actually formalized with the last year’s Pixel 9 series. This is not surprising at all, but still Google’s interest in building its own foldables is not interested in eliminating immediately.
With this hardware, with years and years of holiday, a lot of details about Google’s plans for this series can be heard before it begins to hear a lot. This is okay by us, because we have a lot of quick Google Hardware leaks that have been added to our recent look at Pixel 10 for wireless charging to cover.
