Google introduced a new experimental artificial intelligence (AI) feature in Search Labs on Friday. Dubbed audio review, this feature creates a short podcast style AI audio conversation for some of the search questions. Mountain View -based Tech Dev says that this feature has been strengthened by one of the Gemini models, and it will automatically appear wherever its system determines that audio review will be helpful. In particular, since this is an experimental feature, it is only available to select users at this time.
Audio reviews on search results
In a blog post, Tech Dev said he launched an audio review as a new search lab experience. The users who want to try it will have to first enroll for the labs, and then to activate this feature. Members of the gadget 360 staff were unable to find this feature, so it is likely being tested with all sets of users. Although the company did not clearly mention it, this feature may be available only by the Google app.
The audio review was first introduced last year inside the AI -powered note -taking platform, notebook LM. This feature can lead to a short audio conversation between two AI hosts, which has styled the podcast fashion. Both hosts speak in a manner like humans and discuss different aspects of the subject.
After the notebook LM, Tech Dev recently included this feature in the Gemini app. Now, with another extension, audio reviews will be able to create short audio debates on some of the search results in Google Search. The company is presenting this feature as a hand -free method to learn about unknown topics while multipling.

Based on a joint screenshot by Google, when a capable user types an inquiry for which audio conversations are available, they will see an option called “Search Labs | Audio Review”. The new box will also feature a basic media player that will have the options for sports/pause, volume control, progress bar, and audio options.
Below the media player, users can view the number of websites used to create audio review as well as individual pages list. Google says more information about this topic users users can tap on these web pages.
Based on their experience, users can up/down every audio debate, as well as go to search labs to do the same for the whole experience.
