Yahoo is developing new features of artificial intelligence for his email platform so that consumers’ rapidly growing all sets can be better added: General Z and thousands of years.
The company said Thursday that it was bringing the purpose of facilitating the features of AI in its mail service. A new game “Catchup” feature will provide AI -powered summary and email previews to provide users with the option of “deleting” or “inbox”. This feature is the first in relation to the changes that have made the biggest upgraded by the mail app in a decade.
Over the past years, the company has struggled for innovation as an easy interface has been provided to use competitive platforms like Gmail. The company also faced a high -level security violation in 2013, after which the company estimated that consumer confidence had been exposed to its three billion users, with a blow.
Yahoo’s chief executive officer, Jim Lanzone, who joined the company’s reorganization in 2021, said in an interview that “no doubt” is one of its basic products. “People have been writing or predicting the death of email for years,” he said. “But his home and work has an incredibly permanent role in the lives of both people.”
He said that nearly half of the current Yahoo Mail users are General Z or thousands of years and one in three Americans currently use this service. Lanzone said that AI will play a major role in the future of Yahoo, and this technology is “incredibly important for every product that we run.”
“We just want AI to work quietly in the background, ease all the products that we work from searching from search to news,” he said. “We don’t want to engage people or take any extra steps or learn a new behavior.”
They also call the brand “vintage”, meaning it believes it lives around it. “We’re starting now because we believe a lot of innovation can be done,” said Lanzon. “There is more on our roadmap.”
