Openi released its O3-PR artificial intelligence (AI) model on Tuesday. The company is dubbed as the most advanced reasoning model, it is only available for the most of the consumer’s highest premium level. The O3-PRO model will also be available through GPT as well as AI firm’s application programming interface (API). In articles like science, education, programming, data analysis, and writing, the model is said to be more performance than O3. AII model was released a few hours after OPE’s CEO Sam Altman announced an 80 % discount on input and output prices of O3.
Open AI released O3-PRO for Chat GPT Pro users
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), the official handle of Open announced the rollout of the O3-PRO model. Currently it is only available for Chat GPT Pro users, and for developers through an API. Enterprise and EDU users will have access to it a week later.
The O3-PRO AI Model Pro will replace the O1-PRO model in the choosing option for users. In particular, the AI firm based in San Francisco has reached almost two months later after the introduction of the Baseline O3 and O4-MINI model of the O3 Family.
Open AI says the latest reasoning model improves non -pro variety of non -pro in several areas. Based on internal diagnosis with human testers, the company said that the O3-PRO achieved a 66.7 % win rate in personal writing on the O3 model. It also achieved a 62.7 % win rate against the baseline model in computer programming. Specifically, the company did not share a benchmark test to compare the model against rivals such as Gemini 2.5 Pro or Cloud Ops 4.
The O3-PRO AI model is also capable of using the device, and it can access tools such as web search, file analysis, computer vision with reasoning, reaction can access personal Memory memory, and many can access. However, the company also highlighted that due to access to the tools, the reaction takes a little longer than the model O1-PRO. Similarly, the openings are asking users to choose this when the accuracy of the response is more important than the speed.
There are also some limits with a large language model (LLM). According to the Open AI, the O3-PRO model cannot produce images and does not support temporary chats or canvas. In particular, temporary chats for the model have been disabled due to the technical problem, and it can be fixed soon.
