Apple, in its worldwide developer conference (WWDC) 2025 key note, went out with a full suit of updates – some of which may be called “ground breaking” in their software platforms. Of course, the highlight of the key note is in liquid glass, it is a new parbasie material design that will expand to all software platforms, including iOS 26, iPados 26, Macos Tao 26, Wachos 26, and TVOS 26.
However, one of the great things for me was an iPados upgrade that brings windong, menu bars, and pointer.
iOS 26: New order for iPhones
New glass shape is also available for your phone. Later this year, iOS 26 will be available on iPhone 16 E on iPhone SE (Second gene) devices. Of course, the new iPhone 17 series will launch with the latest iOS 26 installed outside the box.
New iOS 26 is now available for beta testing by Apple Developer Program
Announcing the new design, during the key note, Apple’s Allen Dai, Human Interface VP, compared it to the last important re -design with the iOS7 in 2013, which was affected by the appearance of the retina display.
The new re -design is spread in the system, with glass and fluent features on your lock screen, home screen, control center, apps and more. It also spreads to the lock screen, where the time is dynamically according to your image and the surrounding space. Subsequently, the latest app is icons, made from liquid glass theme, which are available on both light and black topics, as well as dynamic navigation and controls.
Even the Lockscreen is re -designed while keeping the liquid glass theme
The iOS 26 also brings new features of iPhone users, such as call screening, which automatically responds to unknown callers, new screening tools for spam, assisted assistance, pools in group messages, and more. We will break every aspect of the latest iOS 26 in our first impression that we will post after a few days.
A change of liquid glasses
Apple is calling it the next chapter of its software design that brings parliament content to the software platforms. Although it takes a new look to the entire Apple ecosystem, it also shines from Windows Vista, which was introduced to me in 2007. Apple showed on its important note how the liquid glass did the light and dark themes in the devices and integrated with the content on the screen.
The new liquid glass design is spread in iOS 26, iPados 26, Macos Tahao 26, Wachos 26, and TVOS 26.
The company also showed how the control and navigation of the apps will be manufactured with liquid glass and will be replaced with the lilate to pay more attention to the user’s content. The focus on the detail is noteworthy, including small elements such as tab bars and sidebar to navigate to apps along with small elements, such as buttons, switches, slider, text, and media controls. The iOS 26 has also introduced re -designed controls, tool bars and navigation within the apps. Of course, the latest design elements are spread over system apps such as camera, photos, safari, facetime, Apple music, Apple News, and Apple Podcast. Even on the lock screen, Apple has corrected how the watched image wallpapers appear, which includes the concept of full flow with liquid glass.
Developers can now refresh your app’s design using swifties, ukit, and upset, which has updated the APIS.
IPadus finally goes close to being a multi -tasking machine
From the key note, the biggest review for me was for iPados, which found new MacOS -style designs that not only look fresh but also make more multi -tasking friendly.
IPados will allow 26 users to customize the home screen according to the re -design of liquid glass
The window system, menu bar, and pointer are welcome changes, and I think my iPad can eventually replace my Mac for daily tasks. Although apps are still open in full screen mode, now users have the option to change the size – the WWDC key note is shown. There is also a window tiling that enables users to arrange their Windows. Subsequently, there is a new menu bar to access the commands available within an app. Note to remember: iPados also brings 26 files to manage, access and edit. Well, from the sight of this, iPados certainly feel more intuitive and with quick switching – it feels more multi -tasking friendly.
