RedMagic has yet to make its flagship smartphone available globally as the RedMagic 11 Pro. It might be a bit confusing for anyone who follows tech news as this newly announced model is identical to the Red Magic 11 Pro+ in China.

This gaming phone packs impressive specs and some industry firsts. Redmi Note 11 Pro is the first mass-produced phone with liquid cooling.

The solution is called Aquacore, and it’s also incorporated into the phone’s design – you can see the cooling on the back of the phone in two transparent finishes – Night Freeze and Subzero. There is a third, non-transparent model, which is a black color called Crew.

The RedMagic 11 Pro has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on tap, but it also has an in-house Red Core R4 chip. Both, combined with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, enable niceties like super-resolution frame interpolation, improved touch response, and 33% lower latency.

Compared to the previous Red Magic flagship, the Snapdragon SoC offers a 1.2GHz GPU frequency, and up to a 37% faster NPU to 4.6GHz CPU frequency.

It is paired with 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of RAM.

RedMagic says the vapor chamber on its 11 Pro is the world’s largest at 13,116mm. It has a liquid metal layer, active liquid cooling, and a 24,000 rpm active fan, and the Redmagic 11 Pro should deliver some impressive consistent performance.

RedMagic says its phone beats the iPhone 17 Pro Max in the head-on gaming test, with a higher average FPS for gaming (60.9fps vs. 59.6fps), better frame rate variability (0.5fps vs. 6.5fps), and gaming while using less battery (27% vs. 49%).

The rest of the specs are pretty impressive. The Apprentice is a 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED with an uninterrupted surface area, thanks to the latest general underscreen camera—a 16MP unit.

The phone has a 7,500mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. There are two 50MP cameras on the back.

RedMagic 11 Pro is available exclusively through redmagic.gg and select partners and across North America, Europe (including the UK), Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the wider Middle East.

The phone goes on sale on November 18, and there’s an early bird promo from November 13 to November 18 if you pre-order (you can save €30).
