But is it really providing you with sleeping? The term ‘cricket fit’ or ‘cricketing’ is gaining popularity, people realize that their simple habit of nightmares can have some benefits to comfort themselves.
I had doubts about whether the crotching could really help you sleep fast, so I was with Dr. Daniel Attockinson, clinical lead in therapeutic treatment, and deep into the research to find out if there was no evidence to prove this little hack or any evidence.

“When you are trying to fall asleep, cricket foot sleep hack involves rubbing your feet together,” says Dr. Attockson.

He explained, “The name” cricket foot “is derived from the original cracks, which combines their feet together while shouting.

How does rubbing our feet help us to sleep?
Many people report comfortably or sleep when they crotch, but is it just coincidence?
“Rubbing your feet together helps you rest and open while staying in bed,” says Dr. Attockson.
“The footprint experts claim that they can activate acuprush points on the feet, which helps reduce stress, relax organs, reduce pain and promote sleep, though all these claims are not supported by research.”

Is there really any science behind this sleep hack?
Although it is widely believed that cricketing can help you relax and comfort yourself, it lacks scientific evidence behind it.
Dr. Attockson says, “There is no direct research on the effects of rubbing your feet together to help sleep,” says Dr. “
“In addition, a study on the anxiety of the ICU nurses has shown that these nurses have suffered less pain and fatigue,” he added.
This shows that the effective effect of self -reliance can trigger your paralysis nervous system (responsible for relaxing and digestion), which can help you sleep.

“Sleep hacked, some people who can be beneficial, are using white noise,” says Dr. Attockson.
He explained, “Casual sounds can help you calm down and promote comfort.
White noise can prevent other acidic sounds that can disturb your sleep or prevent you from sleeping. Stable, indifferent voice can be comfortable for some people.
Upgrade your sleep hygiene
“Good sleep hygiene can significantly improve sleep quality,” says Dr. Attockson. Sleep hygiene refers to your sleeping environment and daytime you have habits that can affect your sleep at night.
“For example, regular routine at bedtime can help you open before bedtime,” the doctor explained.
Other examples of good sleeping hygiene include eating three balanced meals a day, using your bedroom only using sleep using and avoiding sugar snacks in the evening.
