Google is reportedly taking real -time captions in Gemini Live. According to the report, the new feature will show text captions at the center of the screen, which will help users process verbal reactions more easily. This accessible feature will also help users who want to have a hand -free conversation with chat boots, but do not want to increase volume. Mountain View -based Tech Dev has also allegedly included specializing features for the size and style of the titles.
Real -time captions in Gemini Live appear for some users
The first 9TO5 was viewed by Google, some Reddate users posted to view captions using Gemini live. According to the Android Authority, this feature is being developed with the Google app version 16.21.57, which is not widely available.
According to reports, a new dialog box appears on the upper right side of the icon live interface, once users have access to this feature. It is said that users may be able to turn on or off the caption directly by tapping the icon. When on, whatever Gemini says will also appear on the screen in real time.
Interestingly, when the captions are turned on, consumers will no longer have to increase the volume to communicate with Gemini live. Generally, if the phone volume is too low, the interface indicates the user to lift it before performing the feature. However, when the title is turned on, it will not be needed. This will help those who either want to communicate with the AI or are in a public place where they do not want any other response.

The interface can also turn on and off the feature. In addition, with this, they choose the title size and how they appear on the screen.
Google is probably sending this feature into phased rollout, and more and more users are likely to receive it in the coming days.
