    • The tile was acquired by Life 360 in 2021.
    • So far, the Life 360 app has supported the tile tracking, but not the full device setup.
    • Life 360 has now updated its app with full tile support, and raised questions about how long the old tile app will remain.

Bluetooth trackers are one of the terrific modern facilities that you can never properly appreciate unless you invite them to your life – and then quickly find yourself ready to go again without them. Trackers are getting better on Android with growing UWB support, but when it comes to classic points, some brands better than tiles are famous. Its trackers have been more than a decade, but a few years ago we learned about a controversial acquisition that was at work, as the family tracking app Life 360 bought the tile. Although the relationship between the two has allowed a slight breathing room so far, it seems that it is eventually changing.

Today, Life 360 shares that are now fully supported within the Life 360 app to tile trackers. You have already been able to track tile hardware in Life 360, but the tile app itself is also required for important setup and setting measures. Moving forward, this is no longer necessary, and the owners can take full advantage of the tile devices without the need for anything other than the Life 360 app.

If you are already a fan of Life 360, this is good news, but the app has a fair share of its deletions. Beyond their families to share personal location data in the name of “safety”, Life 360 has faced some deserving criticism for their policies for selling consumer data for profit.

Right now, even after the absorption of all the functionality’s Life 360 app needed to help tile trackers, you still have the option to stay with the old tile app. But with Life 360, using a language like “an app to track all this” and “no further back”, in today’s news announcement, you will forgive us for feeling a bit stupid that the company is leaning on its basic app, which can be a matter of loss of tile app very soon.
