The latest logic pro update to both Max and the iPad brings a feature that can save you when you have just played a great tech for the song, but in fact you have forgotten to target the record. Called “Flashback Capture”, it is like a gaming feature that lets you overcome the cold moments by holding the arrest button for a few seconds.
If it seems to be familiar to you, the logic pro already works for MIDI recording. Flashback capture is ready for both MIDI and traditional audio recording sources, which recovering your recording through a “key command or custom control bar button”. This feature also works for Loopid parts, and saves separate tech on each pass.
As someone who knows the pain of struggling to reproduce a cool thing, I heard back on the track while playing on the guitar – or just forgot to target the record – I can’t express how happy I am. (Hopefully, it works without interruption as it looks.)
In addition to Flashback Capture, Apple says it also improves the quality of the audio extracted by the steam spiral, a feature introduced last year in which AI has been used to distribute devices from recording in separate tracks for each device category. The company has included the ability to export only specific parts of the audio, as well as the help of the guitar and piano, such as removing sounds to make the device track or ease the drum and bass to make it easier to regenerate a song.
Apple also added to the new sound pack-a combination of pre-recorded loop by Muttiq Pro. These include “more than 400 dynamic loops, panchay drum kits, and a custom live loop grid” for the app’s Mac and iPad version. The Mac version of the app also receives two new packs of its own: one is called magnetic flaws, which Apple says, “Analog tapes the raw, unmanned essence of the essence,” and the other a combination of guitar tracks that is recorded by the guitarist of the leader.
